The Brazilians may feel themselves besmirched, but the whole point is that you mediots made it an issue. Had they not made it worldwide front page news. None of this would be necessary.
I remember one night on a little Portugese Island off Spain/Portugal getting likkered up and going with some friends to ride on the back of the island garbage truck riding through its ‘big city’ to collect the crap the locals put out to throw away. Great fun, but in the end, we ended up on a cliff dumping the sh!t in the ocean.
We didn’t end up on the news, BTW.
