Yes, I read the article. Sorry, I morphed the r in Mr into a c. The fact remains, that yes while you do things strategically in any organization, like add and subtract people or get right people on the bus and then in the right seats (Jim Collins, Good to Great") the fact is that Trump is behind. A lot of people on this forum don't want to accept that reality. And it is reality. It's not the end of the world and it's not over until the votes are counted.

But beyond a CEO commenting, there are also people commenting that have run campaigns or have been involved in campaigns.

Think they aren't behind. According to one of his new hires, Kellyanne Conway, who said "I think it helps us to be a little bit behind, and we are. It lights a fire under us, and reminds us what we need to do to get this done," she said. There you have it folks. For the horses mouth. They are behind.

Herman Cain's article was written as a diversion. Like the Wizard of OZ, he's telling the faithful don't look at the chaos behind the curtain.

Didn't Trump at one of his rallies say that at that point he only had 70 people on staff... and as things moved forward he would be needing to hire more... IIRC he compared the size of his staff to that of Hillry, who has around a thousand people on her staff?

I do not get what the big deal is here...

A good business man knows the market segment that he’s doing battle. This is a political campaign, not competing hotels or office suites.

NPR (yes I know)

I listen to NPR as well. Some of their reporting is surprisingly fair and balanced these days.

That is what Cain said. Things can always go smoother. A good CEO is always looking for ways to improve things, Ergo: Things were not running so smoothly as they could be given especially that the situation is constantly changing. You have to change tactics and personnel to respond better to the changing situation.

Not all GOPe folks have failed just as not all nontraditional (take the Trump route) candidates have won.

“And just to prove the point, the stupid bitch Megan McCain was on Fox just now saying “leadership changes means something is going wrong with the campaign”, based of course on her extensive 2 year history of helping with her father’s loser campaign.”

Makes me wonder what the dimwitted Valley Girl would say when someone tells her that Ronald Reagan fired his campaign manager John Sears during the 1980 campaign.

What would Megan McCain know about running anything except her fat mouth?
