On the question of democratic party unity, they leave out frustrated millennials that support Sanders. Specifically, they leave out the 18-49 demographic. These age groups were heavy Sanders supporters. Maybe thats why CNN didnt want to include them in their poll. In addition, the poll excludes the 18-34 age group for their Clinton/Kaine match-up with Trump/Pence. In addition, CNN reports the sampling error of +/- 8.5%. So, depending on the answers and the outcome they are looking for any given poll, they have some techniques they can employ: 1) phone call surveys 2) Internet polls 3) Sit in Central Park and survey passersby. 4) College Campuses.
According to the poll, it includes 601 interviews among landline respondents and 402 interviews among cell phone respondents.
Trump and the RNC need to spend some money to get some fair polling done
