I hope he wins, but it was a mistake for him to say what he said yesterday, for two reasons:
1. As a general rule, you never get in the way of your opponents destroying themselves.
2. At least temporarily, it united them (and the media, same thing) in a spasm of indignation against him, smoothing over their divisions and directing all ire against him.
Even if it is a distraction from her coronation, it has put him on the defensive and given people who are still undecided (not us here, but out in the non-political world) one more reason for pause.
The media are now playing a game of twister, trying to figure out why they are upset about this. It’ll be fine.
I want to know if you actually watched his press conference, or did you just see the parts of it that the MSM showed you? I ask, because in context, he was answering questions that they threw at him. First, that’s something no Dem ever does. They want questions submitted beforehand. Second, when you include the context of what he was asked and how he answered it, his comment was firmly tongue in cheek, and the media twisted what he said, in almost every report I’ve read.
They want to call this treason but somehow it’s not illegal for Hillary to exclusively use an unsecured server to both send and receive classified info. They are acting like Trump asked them to hack into her server, which as we know, has been destroyed already and there is no way to hack into it now. They don’t want to acknowledge that the hacking would have already taken place. In my mind, Trump is brilliant for using the DNC leaks to reopen Hillary’s email scandal, something the Dems would like for Americans to forget. Also, what’s with their concern about cyber security now? Supposedly, Hillary only had yoga and wedding info in her emails that weren’t turned over.
Whether Trump wins or not, I’m glad he’s actually fighting the machine. I’m so sick of the ruin of our country. If he loses, we’ll all know even further that the election was also rigged.
She just died. Maybe Hillary can channel her for an answer.
It's nice having a candidate who has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to use it. I'm glad he said it. It keeps her scandals and short comings alive, and in her face. You could have predicted the response from the press and the Dems. Trump baited them, and they fell for it.
+1
What exactly is wrong with that statement? Now what would be interesting is if Russia did release the emails that Hillary deleted. That would be a hoot.
Hannity called it yesterday.
Hillary and the media will twist why he said and then an FBI investigation. Then claim that the is WAY worse than anything Hillary had done
Just heard on radio news that Mook has just pulled that trigger
“Hes set up the voters to think the media is unfair to him whether or not the are on any topic.”
Come on. The only way the media would say anything true is if they were using it to set up a bigger lie.
The media are the blood enemies of all that is good and decent.
The media is funny, they actually believed OJ when he said he was going to look for the killer. Now they thing Trump's tongue in cheek comment is tantamount to espionage, too funny. From Obama to Hillary to the media, they are all in panic mode. They can read the polls too.
Wow. I messed that up.
...will twist WHAT he said and then CALL FOR...
but it was a mistake for him to say what he said yesterday

A internet poster versus the Candidate. We’ll see in the long run who was correct.
I thought that it was Ted Cruz who was the master 3 dimensional political manipulation and that Trump was just a clown act. lol, what ever happened to that theory.
I thought the FBI wanted to find them. And look what Trump has done! He turned reporting on its heels, so folks are talking about hillary's missing emails, that, by the way, turncoat Sanders says nobody cares about.
It's brilliant. Are you sure you're for Trump? Most of us who are trust him, and are way past questioning the campaign he's running.
The Clinton campaign, and the media (same thing) has essentially admitted that at least some of those 30,000 emails are classified, that they all aren’t about yoga, Chelsea’s wedding or her mother’s funeral. Trump asked that anyone with those 30,000 emails to release them, he wasn’t asked anyone to hack into anything since the server no longer exists. Any emails held by anyone would have had to have been hacked more than a year ago, at least.
Very smart/shrewd statement by Trump.
They (the media) are not very bright either. Trump plays them like a fiddle.
Bump to that - concise and on target.
Yes, I agree with that. Also the manner in which the predictions or accusations are made is in-artful and maladroit in the least.
His "concern" appears to be confusing him, poor thing.
