Prepare to be mindblown. A black dude is going to tell you why the GOP’s winning strategy is to focus like a laser on the white vote.
One key result of the increased polarization happening in America under President Obama is that Republicans have a chance to decisively capture the white vote in a historic fashion. In fact, the key to a Trump victory will be the white vote, not the Hispanic vote, the black vote, or any other vote.
Why? For one, the Democratic Party has already lost the white vote, and lost it big. Mitt Romney won the demographic by a whopping 59-39 landslide margin in 2012. Trump is leading it by similar margins. This is because the Democratic Party has decided that, due to the rising Hispanic and immigrant population—who vote about 80 percent Democratic—they no longer need the white vote to win, but rather can rely on favorable changing demographics to deliver elections.
This means Democrats are leaving white voters the wayside the same way they have ignored blacks for decades. The difference is that whites take notice and vote Republican in response. Black folks just keep voting Democratic.

I know its 538 but the sliders really show Trump’s potential. Slide the non-college white up and right, see what happens. Also, account for less black turnout without Hussein Obama on the ballot.
As a percentage, a majority of white people work and are not dependent upon welfare. As a percentage, America is mostly white. As a percentage, white people who work, have the most to gain in a prosperous economy.
The Democratic base is, unfortunately predicated on what they can give those who choose to become dependent upon the Gov’t teat. This is why no Black majority will ever vote for a Republican no matter what race that Republican is. Republicans represent independence and self-reliance; which is the anti-thesis to current Black culture.
The only colors DONALD TRUMP sees are RED, WHITE, and BLUE.

My feeling is that Hillary will win. The world is an unpredictable place right now. I think people might hold onto what they know, which means the same old, same old, which is Hillary. At least they will know what to expect. God help us.

The author is correct but Trump can’t do that explicitly. He needs to appeal to patriotic, hard-working Americans without pandering to anyone. If whites disproportionately respond to it, so be it.
