Anyway, the 82nd reference brought up issues about posse commitatus & the larger question as whether the Federal government has at its disposal the sheer manpower to effect a martial law takeover of the United States. I say it doesn’t & commandeering the states’ law enforcement assets is problematic.
But yes, there are FReepers who think Obama can & will come for our guns. Again, we know he wants to but can’t. Look at his foot-stamping frustration every time he so much as brings up the subject of guns. It’s fun to watch; how he wishes he could darken the skies with hordes of flying monkeys going out to seize all the guns.
It’s not as bad as all that, is what I’m saying.
