Update: The Ongoing Arrogance of the Cruzers

Liberals always claim the need to "educate" people who don't do what they want and have no problem disenfranchising voters to get their way. Cruzers are clearly displaying the very same authoritarian tactics so-called conservatives bitch about constantly.

While #NeverTrumper Regina Thompson claims Trump only earned 40% of the Republican primary votes, he did so against a field of 16 other candidates (not one or two, or even four...) which makes that victory percentage all the more impressive.

‘Ted Cruz ran probably the worst presidential campaign ever.’

Did you happen to see where Cruz is still joined at the hip with his campaign manager? Trump wanted to meet with Cruz, to offer him a speaking slot. Who did Cruz show up with?

Jeff Roe.

You’d think by now Cruz had taken enough heat for hiring the sleaziest campaign manager in the business. And who needs a campaign manager long after their campaign is over anyway? Maybe Cruz is scared of Trump, and needed someone to hold his hand.

Been lurking and watching both sides and I find them both guilty of the same thing. Interesting.

FWIW ... I did vote for Cruz in the primary but will be voting for Trump in November. Hillary MUST be stopped.

Let the small faction of diehard Cruzers just run their gums. Everyone else has moved on to the only true objective and that’s defeat Hillary. I could care less about Ted Cruz. At this point he is irrelevant.

I watched the opening of the platform hearings yesterday. Senator Barasso’s opening concluded with, “Make America great again”. The Cruz cultist groaned.

There should never be any “Cruzers” or Rubios” There should only be one party- the Republican Party- with their candidate, Donald J. Trump! We should now hope that he picks a competent team and goes on to become the American Churchill! (This from a former “Cruzer”)

They were never even remotely interested in nominating a candidate for the presidency, per se.

It's always been about minting themselves a brand new theocratic messiah.

Please stop with the bovine dropping nonsense...

99 % of Cruz supporters, I was one, supported him because we THOUGHT he was a constitutional conservative...NOT because we thought he was the future theocratic messiah...

Why do you post the incoherent rantings of his father and conflate it with his supporters ?

Does someone need to check your meds?

You know what you posted was at best disingenuous, at worst delusional...

While #NeverTrumper Regina Thompson claims Trump only earned 40% of the Republican primary votes

Trump got 45% of the popular vote and received the most votes of any Rep candidate in history in the primaries.

Meet Jeff Roe, Ted Cruz’s campaign manager
If this is what Ted chooses as a campaign manager imagine the advisirs who would inhabit his administration

Given Roe’s association with releasing ads of a nude Melania Trump, I’d have to give Trump great credit for meeting Cruz if this was a man he brought along

Spend 5 minutes with Bill Whittle on what he loves about Donald Trump. This video was put up 9/2015 and I MAY have sent this once before but, as always, it’s good to review.
Near the end, Bill offers — as of 9/2015 — some options for “better” candidates for the White House. Given the Cruz crew’s chicanery vis-a-vis the delegate “auction” in Colorado and elsewhere, Ted’s MO appears to more akin to a mafia capo than a committed Christian. As for Carly, last time I checked, she was on-board for full on Common Core and has told audiences that “Islam is one of the world’s GREAT RELIGIONS”! (Sorry, Carly, islam is a warfare conquest driven political, legal and economic system MASQUERADING as a “religion” that SHOULD scare the daylights out of her and every female on earth! Heck, islam SHOULD scare the wits out of ANY American with a brain, male or female! See the image below for supporting evidence of that.) Scott Walker? Nice guy who, unfortunately, would have union members across America standing in line 5 or 6 times (Hey, it’s the “Chicago/Cook County way!) voting for the Democrat just to make sure he goes away ASAP!
Enough of my special kind of craziness. Here’s the video (and that image I mentioned):

Ted Cruz ran probably the worst presidential campaign ever. I use to like the guy.

I agree with both points. I liked him initially and he was a terrible, terrible, terrible campaigner. Worse than Romney. Worse than McCain.

Thanks for the link. Yes, Roe is the unquestioned king of sleaze; he has no peer.

You touch on the other possible reason Cruz brought his bff to the meeting: to anger Trump. In addition to Roe himself buying the rights to use the naked pic of Melania, Roe (with Cruz’ full approval) outright libeled Trump in a NH ad. It was the nastiest and most dishonest ad of the campaign. Cruz knew it was all lies—and lies of the most vicious kind. He also knows that after the ad started running, Trump dubbed him Lyin Ted.

So what does the small, bitter, childish Cruz do? He brings along the one jerk who, even more than Cruz, conceived that shameless ad. He just couldn’t resist rubbing Trump’s nose in it one more time.

SMH.

..if the GOP were united against the Beast, Trump would be walking away with it.

The GOP is our enemy, choir, and they must be defeated.

Weirdest election ever....BUT don’t be discouraged, its what cankles is counting on.

The problem is that Rafael Sr said the anointed king stuff as an official Cruz campaign spokesman, and Ted never corrected the record. It’s also interesting that the only people bothered by the messianic riff are non-Cruz supporters. From the Cruz supporters themselves there has been no critique or qualm re the crazy, non-Christian theology espoused by an official Cruz campaign spokesman.

Frankly, it is much more pathetic that idiots keep beating a man when he is down. Doing the work of the left.
Big news folks! Cruz has suspended his campaign!
