Which State legislatures would pick Romney electors

I don't know that any would. I just was pointing out that most things people think they know about "running for President" aren't true.

State Legislatures can change the rules right up until the Electoral College meets in December. Not saying they will, just saying that they could.

If Donald J. Trump loses this election because the greedy, selfish, holier than thou establishment Republican cronies like Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Reince Priebus, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Paul Ryan and several dozen others continue to sabotage and slander him,

No, just not voting for them and actively campaigning against them won't change anything. If Trump loses for the reasons you state, we MUST respond much, much, MUCH more forcefully. Otherwise, we should be ashamed to call ourselves Americans and quietly bow down and accept the chains of slavery.

Romney and Cruz both having the same dream - screw what the People say/want, what we really need is to have someone who nobody has reason to trust as the candidate....

Just what the Rats need - an opponent cowering in the corner, frightened of its own shadow.

To be fair, Priebus now appears to be working with Trump; so he does not belong in the rogues gallery listing.

The way to handle any of those who persist in the anti-Trump lunacy is to constantly demand they tell us if they will put America & the Americans, First(!); or, if not, tell us why not.

There is no question, none at all, that any rational reading of the Constitution requires the Trump position. It is the one towering issue of the campaign--of the moment in America. We need to drive the point home, at every opportunity. (The Issue.)

Agreed. But there are still conservatives in the party who might try to steer the GOP back on course. And it is more than this — do we allow a few people in the party to decide who runs against Hillary? And even after “the people have spoken.”

The convention will be “make or brake” for me.

Hey, Romney didn’t sign the pledge to support the main GOP candidate. LOL, wow, did that backfire on them or not? Yeah, I’m sure a Romney/McCain combo will bring the voters to the polls. Bleeeech.

His family may want him to run, America doesn’t.

Gore didn’t go away. He stayed in the public eye with a different ruse.

While Romney has been busy trying to usurp the Trump campaign for the past year, he should have been minding his business; Sports Authority. How many jobs did cost with this latest bankruptcy? I'm sure he, and his raider pals, got all the cash out of it first.

Wish he would go back to Kolob and leave us earthlings alone.

On what planet is this happening?

When I go to the RNC website, a place where Trump's name should be prominently displayed, along with all of the ways the RNC is promoting him and helping his campaign, I find -- nothing.

There is not even a statement of support for DJT, no call for unity, nothing at all.

For months, the "conservatives" have been saying that Trump was not conservative enough. When did they change their tune?

While I agree the convention will be worthwhile, it will only change my mind if the old guard is completely swept away and there is a wholehearted embrace of Donald.

I totally agree and am thankful that I didn’t actually vote in the last General Election (the only one I’ve missed).
Mittens and Ryan are nothing more than part of the useless Uniparty establishment in power that could not care less about we the people!!
