Gun Store sells 30,000 AR-15's in 5 days after Orlando (Birth of an Internet Hoax or Joke on MSM?)

Apparently many are being fooled by this outrageous story of how one gun store in "Podunk" Pennsylvania sold 30,000 AR-15's in 5 days after the Orlando shooting. This is an amazing feat of 21st century commerce since their "web presence" looks like something from the early 1990's.
I've seen this Fox Business News story repeated on The Blaze, Washington Free Beacon, etc.
This is patently absurd that no one from any reputable source has questioned this. Does no one fact check anymore (besides FreeRepublic)?
The Hunters Warehouse owner, Tom Engle, told Stuart Varney of Fox Business News on June 17th that his "online operation consisting of 300,000 to 400,000 weapons has sold 30,000 AR-15s since Sunday."
They have 300,000 to 400,000 weapons. So 350,000 weapons, plus or minus 50,000? I'm sure the BATFE must really be impressed with his inventory records being accurate to within 50,000 weapons.
Oh well, I guess this is one way to generate some interest in your small Pennsylvania hardware, antique, computer repair, general store.

From the website: "Paramilitary weapons, military weapons, pistols, etc. ◦ Full line of hunting, archery, fishing and outdoor supplies. ◦ New and used rifles, pistols, shotguns. ◦ Specialize in obsolete and hard to get ammo and gun parts. ◦ Gunsmithing, archery set up and repair, rod and reel repairs. ◦ Computer repair. ◦ We custom order anything! Inventory ◦ Large selection of Snap-On, Mac, Craftsmen and power tools. ◦ Over $100,000 inventory in tools. ◦ Huge inventory of military surplus. ◦ Huge inventory of antiques. You name it, we probably sell it! Cars, trucks, appliances, furniture, chain saws, weed eaters, etc. Call, ask and see if we have it in stock!" I'm having an issue with this as well.

FWIW, I read some people talk of this guy on a gun forum who knew him through dealings. Apparently they did not believe his boasts either as he likes to exaggerate.

They may have gotten orders or inquiries for that, but no way in hell any gun store on the earth can sell 6K ARs/day for five straight days - if they’re open for 10 hrs/day = 600 each hour, or 10 every minute....

Just the background checks alone would make it pretty much impossible.

Gun sales have gone over 100 million since Barry took office. Does anyone have the current number?

Hey thanks for the Google street view of the Hunters Warehouse.
After seeing the store front I guess I'll have to contact an Admin Moderator and get him to delete my vanity. </sarc> LOL!!

I’ll bet Mr. Obama wishes he had a commission deal with the firearms companies. He’d be richer than George Foreman.

The MSM is truly pathetic. A two minute google search shows the
storefront. It's just a little hole-in-the-wall operation.

It's just a little hole-in-the-wall operation. That's what I was calling it from just looking at their web "presence" before I saw the google street view.
I'm just watching now to see how soon and which MSM reads FR and rebuts the 30,000 in 5 days claim. They have to get their facts somewhere.

No Way.
Forget background checks - they may have gone to other FFL’s.
Good friend is FFL for 8 years now - getting AR’s from distributors (they are not sold directly by mfg.s to FFL’s, but through distributors) is difficult at best even for the big purchasers such as Cabela’s, Bass Pro, etc. Yeah, they’ve got clout, but not even they could land that many AR’s in that period of time.

This is how it has been working out for them.
And in the last two months... (Nov. 2012 and Dec. 2012)
And it continues...
And there is more...

And yet more...
And more and more and...
We just keep buyin' more...
And we bought more more more...
And more and more and more...
KEEP FLAPPIN' YOUR LIPS, DEMOCRATS! WE'LL BUY MILLIONS MORE. ;-)
