I promise I’m not a troll. Anyone reading my posts knows I’m a conservative and fully and completely support Trump.

However to help Trump win conservatives have to know the whole true history. Many have said Reagan was shown to be losing badly to Carter until right before the 1980 election. He was early in 1980 but even by early fall he had established a sizable lead. No doubt the MSM tried so hard to elect Carter but Reagan had established himself in the polls. There were a couple of moment in the debates but overall had come back. It’s just important to remember that we have to get the Trump train going now.

Actually, though they’re useful to a degree, I think we ought not to rely heavily on past polls and elections. Nothwithstanding some similarities, this is a very different time and place than 1980, both here and abroad.

True but look here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3440835/posts

I analyzed ALL polls in June vs. November going back to 1952, and the result is shocking. They were almost always off—about 3 races didn’t change. MOST of the time they were off in favor of the Dem, and big. The average “miss” for the Dems was 13 points, but for the GOP candidate, it was 22!!

Moreover, in almost every race, even those where the GOP candidate lost, he made up a lot of ground. Even Goldwater, who lost by 20, was down in June by 50 (!!!). H. W. Bush had a turnaround of 34 points. These are not minor errors and suggest either total incompetence or serious poll slanting.
