Not compared to this girl
Yes, this girl isn't dress down for a little shore fishing. Clad in a black dress and heels, she displays a fine form as she sits at the edge of a pond in a deck chair. But then it all quickly unravels.
All anglers have experienced this once dropping things in the lake, breaking rods, and even falling in. But can this girls luck get any worse? Her reaction to it all does certainly take the cake.
Real or fake, you have to admit that clip is hilarious. If anything, she walked away with her head held high just with one less cell phone, fishing pole, and chair. The joys of fishing, see the video here.
But like they say, “A bad day fishin beats a good day at the office every time.”
Years ago, my dad and I were fishing from his 14 ft V bottom...He was ready to go and had folded his two piece rod next to him...I said, “One more cast!!!” and reared back to heave my crankbait toward shore...one hook caught the big eye on his rod and I slung his rod about 30 feet out of the boat...he just sat watched it go over his head into the water...he sat staring at me as I reeled...
“It’s still on...” I said...
When I reeled in his rod, he shook the water out and said, “Now, we are going...”
I’ll take a wild guess that the article contains a flash vid. I removed all Flash plugins so I’m guessing why I don’t see a video file playing at all.
Thanks anyway.
That’s no way to treat a nice fly rod.

I see the words you've written but their meaning escapes me. :=)
If you’re using Chrome, there’s an extension called “Flash Control” that let’s you block all flash and allow them one by one to run.
I use it exclusively and it works well.

Get off the phone and FISH!
Dag nub it.
