Mrs. Thomas was a big Cruz supporter and may be disheartened at what will happen on November 8.
The next president could appoint up to 4 justices in his first term.
Meanwhile, Ted Cruz is still “assessing” whether to vote for Trump or Hillary.

This puts an even more important aspect to this election. I can understand why some sincere conservatives are having trouble with Trump. You must support him or rule of law, due process, freedom of speech and limited government, so weakened now, will be forever gone. Trump is the only alternative. While there is no guarantee he will name a conservative to the court, it is guaranteed Hillary will name a flaming progress authoritarian.
I think that long grueling, irrational trial took a lot out of Judge Thomas. I can’t imagine being on the hot seat for that long and having to sit quietly while your good name is slandered by the Dems. I think Scalia was Thomas’s main supporter on the court, and without him there offering bold clear support, Thomas has few other reliable conservatives to work with.
Judge Thomas, please don’t.

Justice Thomas is an American icon who realized the American dream. As an avid hiker and camper, I remembered that he enjoyed his RV. God Bless this remarkable man, a God-sent as well as his family!
As a side note, I'm fully aware of he and his wife's love of RV camping. How cool would it be to pull into a campsite out in the middle of wherever campsites are and find you neighbor is Justice Thomas and his wife?
"Hey Mr. Thomas, want to join my family for hotdogs?"..............LOL! Or, "Mr. Thomas, lets go down to the river tomorrow morning for some fly fishing......."
