Remember those Jay Leno segments showing folks who thought William Shakespeare should be removed from the ballot for the election of governor of California? Hey, only the morons made those Man-in-the-Street segments.
I’ll go out on a limb here and say this was seriously edited to provoke. Maybe the 15% Idiot Factor was left in. I just returned from a family visit to California, including SF. Bottom line impression: Mostly normal people going about their work and play just like you and me, in other words, people who don’t make waves in the idiot surveys and social sites behaving as activists and idiots.
Some days we need to get off the Internet and go out and meet the vast majority of good people who make up America.
Dear Lord, please let me be right about this!
Did Obama get elected twice by the Normal people

Well yes and no.
Agree these are edited but really how much? It doesn’t appear this guy had much trouble finding so many people actually holding these opinions. Whether these recent polls are skewed are not, the fact they’re even close enough to skew is troubling. In a correct world, Trump or any other republican should be leading by 15 points minimum in the polls hands down so it’s important to realize that there are and will/be many people who really see the world this way so nothing can be taken for granted.
Agree people should get out more but at the same time part of the problem is people “go out and live their lives” without getting involved and/or educated on the issues/candidates/news and soon those lives are negatively affected.
I think you're correct.
Call it what you may...flyover, corn-fed, etc, the people that populate the "un-urban" (to coin a phrase) areas of the US are not really into this "blame" crap...they have come to realize that they are under attack, they recognize the threat and call it what it is.
And they damn sure know who is behind it and you'd be hard pressed to find much sympathy for the loons that propagate it.
