If he took his oath to defend the Constitution seriously, he wouldn’t be trying to violate it by imposing unconstitutional restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.

I also remember someone pointing out that our real military leaders like Ike & MacArthur would testify before congress in a suit & tie.
