Go Mario Andretti!
Us too we would be out on the boat and loved the radio broadcasts it was magical and so exciting it took me a few years to really get into the tevised version
What time????????????
First race was in 1911. 1917-18,1942-45 weren’t held due to the world wars. Hence today is the 100th running.
i attended the race last year...there is nothing like the 500!!
Go Ryan Hunter Ray!!! of Josef Newgarden!!! (or any OTHER American driver!!!)
listening to the IRL feed right now...
That's a pretty large spread. I would figure they'd have a closer estimate than that.
I believe 400,000 might push capacity, but 3 sounds like it would be very lonely there.
Did anyone catch the info piece where they were doing a comparison on how much space is covered by the race? They referred to the forecourt of the Vatican as “St. Petersburg Square”.
Uhhhh....ABC/ESPN...got a word for you...”proofread”...as in proofread the scrip[t before you record it and flash your ignorance for the entire country to see and hear.
Thank you. We now return you to your race.

That’s The Photo !
AWESOME START!!! Just AWESOME!!
ESPN3 on board camera’s also have the radio feeds- really cool
Before television I couldn’t wait to listen to this race. I had my pad and pencil ready to record positions and listened for the entire race. I haven’t watched in some time. When and why did all the cars become the same? To me, it makes for a pretty boring race.
