Correction, “Now”.

Now, thanks to one DJT, things are starting to change in that direction. He is a breath of fresh air.

As I was standing in line with my shoes and belt off, all my valuables in a little tray with my carry on, waiting to be scanned, I thought, “We have Islam to thank for this.”

My son and I recently took a train vacation... the train security is similar to what I remember of airplane security the first time I ever flew, back in 1968.

Leftists want to open the floodgates to anyone, and blame us for the violent people who take advantage of it--because, don't you know, if we just communicate with them and let them know we don't mean harm, there won't be any reason to fight. Back in the real world, though, there have always been humans who resort to violence to get what they want, and no amount of kumbaya will ever change that. So we have to close the borders and vet anyone we allow to come through.

Sure, everyone would prefer a world where everyone is peaceful and no one has to worry about people scheming to kill large numbers of other people--but that's not how the world is, and pretending otherwise won't make it that way.

Hey Einstein I’m referring to Mr. Trump’s tweet..the subject of this thread.

“The American people are sick and tired of not being able to lead normal lives and to constantly be on the lookout for terror and terrorists!”

I don’t know anyone who is constantly on the lookout for terror and terrorism. Do you?

Hey “Aristote”
The checking , controls ....are OBVIOUSLY and since some years CONSTANT in the airports and some other sensitive places with crowds .

In that srnse it’s really CONSTANT .
Do you have a problem of understanding or you a clintoonbot ( or both of the above )?
Constantly can also mean OFTEN ....

Bye and don’t kiss hill-ary for me

Absolute truth.

Always sit facing the door and hopefully with your back to a wall-whenever you are eating out or at a meeting.

Exactly the same reaction that I had. Trump has a knack for saying what needs to be said. And this has needed saying *for years*. Trump gets that Americans don’t just want to accept terrorism as the new normal.

I remember being at the Philly airport and there in the gate area was a muslim with his four wives, mother, young son, and daughter. What struck me the most (aside from the head to toe burkas that left absolutely no way to verify pictures on their passports) was the young boy. He was about 4 years old and he already knew and acted like he understood his role and the role of women in that 5th century barbaric lifestyle. I was NOT the only one eyeing them warily..

“Take off the rose colored glasses. Be paranoid.” from Trump’s book ‘Think Big and Kick Ass’.

Trump and other New Yorkers have talked about the smell of death that pervaded WTC’s towers’ remains for weeks. I’d not thought of that.

I try to give them dirty looks all the time, but they do not make eye contact.

We’ll always have to. Islam will never stop until they’re purged, or they take over the world.

Do you seriously know anyone who is constantly worried about terrorism in the USA?

I don't know anyone who isn't constantly aware of situations which might enable terrorism, violence, and threats to my well being. It's a way of life to factor reducing risk into decision making.

I am very concerned about immigration and who is coming into the USA. I think about it all the time.

We were at Ground Zero area, about a month after 9/11 and the stench in the air was still very pungent.

You are simply wrong. Terrorism is like a constant weight that we’re dragging around. Anyone who is even remotely tuned in feels it. It feels like unfinished business.

Since 911....

The only logical response to 911 would've been to identify the problem, then solve the problem. The problems were (1) Saudi nationsals, (2) education visas allowing "students" who should not have been studying in the US, (3) people in the US illegally including overstaying visas and (4) absolutely no military vigilance of obvious targets.

NOTHING in GWB's response addressed the causes!

Exactly right.

And when will it end?

Why does a "religion" cause all of this?

Why do we allow it too?

Maybe if Mecca and Medina were smoking holes in the ground on 9/12/01,we would not have to be doing this to get on an airplane, which used to be a normal process.

Also, notice that not one of esteemed "conservatives" or GOP leaders ever has the balls to say this and actually do something about it.

> They weren’t on 911. 911 changed everything, but its is ridiculous to say Americans are looking out for terrorists.

I am. Whenever I see any Muslims walking around in their garb in any store I'm in I pay attention.

I am.

Ditto. Within earshot of a musloid the other day, I remarked to my wife "We're being colonized". The musloid turned, smiled, and nodded his head in agreement.

I have a wide definition for terrorism and keep myself reasonably fit and ready for any of it's forms.

Being alert is not a sign of weakness. It's a choice. Ignoring predators and hoping you can shuffle along unnoticed praying lightning will strike someone else, is the choice of a sheep.

I'd rather be an inferior dog than a superior sheep any day.
