Gabriel Sherman writes that the poor reaction to Megyn Kelly’s primetime FOX special, Megyn Kelly Presents, has spooked the news anchor as she positions herself for negotiations at the end of her Fox News contract–so much so that a phone call to her publicist led to an immediate hang-up.

Megyn Kelly’s much-publicized broadcast special with Donald Trump was supposed to launch the Fox News star into the stratosphere of television anchordom. Instead, the widely panned show seems to have achieved the opposite result: It exposed the extent of her limited mainstream appeal. Kelly drew just 4.8 million viewers on Tuesday night, a number television executives say is a disappointment by any measure. Three senior executives I spoke with say an audience of 9 million would have been a success. “Not good for her at all,” was how one insider put it.

Move it over one channel to Fox Business. They do all the news, plus everything that matters in the filthy lucre dept.
Plus, Fox Business has Bartiromo, Varney, Dobbs, E-Mac, D-Mac, and Liz Klaman. Hard to beat that lineup.

I don’t watch the skank any more. In fact I only watch the Five and I’m getting to the end of my tether with them. All that they cover is news that I’ve already read on FR so why bother?

It was on the Fox network, not FNC. 9 million in prime time is Ok. But the margin on those “interview” shows are huge.
She did not deliver and I am sure there are some sales guys who’se first quarter commission checks are going to be light.

I used to watch the Five, but Gutfeld became too snarky and think’s he’s as clever as Dennis Miller.
Plus, his anti-Trump rants are ridiculous, he claims Trump’s not a conservative, but he used to host all sorts of his homo buddies on RedEye. Now he’s just full of unfunny snark and concern trolling over Trump. Plus he was a constant pusher for Ryan and a hand wringer over how the TEA party was destroying the R party. P*ss on him.
I’m convinced he and Dana P are paid agitators for either the butt-hurt Bush’s or Clinton.
But at least with Juan (and Bob Beckel) you know they are dem’s (so I can stand them, and Beckel used to make me laugh at some of the goofy stuff he would say, he was comedy gold). DP and GG are just anti-Trump for the sake of being anti-Trump and I won’t cotton to that.
I went to Fox Business and only turn on Fox if Eric Bolling is sitting in for O’Reilly.
I can only hope they replace Smegma Keely with Mark Steyn.
