The exam question, written by Palm Beach Lakes High School (PBL) teacher and practicing attorney Malik Leigh, asked, “If a Donald Trump becomes president of the United states, we are:

A. Screwed

B. Screwed

C. Screwed

D. Screwed behind a really YUGE wall that Mexico pays for."

The final exam is “wholly inappropriate for the Law Academy class,” PBL Principal Cheryl McKeever wrote in a letter, according to the Post....

YEs. He was suspended because it was considered inappropriate to use the “T” word on an official exam.

Being liberal Palm Beach this surprises me. I would have thought they would give him a medal for bashing Trump. The RATS are really scared Trump will be our next President and I say GOOD!

“That prog should be immediately fired. Real American parents of students in his classes should sue the district for all they can, including dismissal of the superintendent. And also petition for a recall of all school board members.”

If we return to the decentralized governing model of our Constitution, the courts should not be involved in this case at all. The first action of the parents should be to address the interest with the principal. If they do not receive satisfaction their next step is to see the superintendent. If that meeting fails they should seek redress at the school board. If our system worked properly the school board would have the final say. There would be no involvement by courts, the federal government or the state department of education. A matter like this should be handled at the local level.

Likewise if the principal, superintendent, or school board chose to suspend or fire the teacher, the school board should have the final word. No appeals to courts (unless there is a discrimination issue) and no appeal to the state or federal bureaucracy.

If parents are unhappy with the school board, the parents should run candidates to replace the current board. If they can’t find candidates, or get their candidates elected, then the policies of the existing board are retained.

We’ve lost local government control because we as citizens have failed to use it. For the last 70 years we have allowed individuals and groups to short circuit the governing process and look to judges or federal and state bureaucracies to “correct” decisions of local officials. Each time the state and federal bureaucracies, or the courts, are asked to become involved we cede more local control and power to unaccountable institutions.

Now the first reaction of the left and the right is to go to court instead of seeking redress in the legislature or in the ballot box. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison must be ashamed of us.

I was in elementary school when Reagan was elected. The teachers were downright scared...thought Reagan was a ‘cowboy’ who would get us in a nuke war with the Ruskies. They really were terrified. Liberals are good at self induced hyperbole.

This is typical of most liberals. They cannot, cannot, cannot abide the fact that an opinion contrary to their own gains favor and it eats at them to the point that they do stupid things like this.

For extra credit, Barack Obama is

A) Incompetent
B) A marxist
C) A muslime-lover
D) A latent homosexual
E) An incompetent, marxist, muslime-loving closet queer.

Trick question. There's no wrong answer.

And this guy is a lawyer? Passed the Bar? Graduated from Law School? Got an undergraduate degree?

That test was the most juvenile, puerile, biased excuse for a test I’ve ever seen.

Just wow.

You can leave your comments at his website.

The banner says:

Our firm's aim is to give depressed communities support and education at the intersection of social justice and legal issues.

Their website already has a posting about this incident on the front page, and here's his take on it:

Malik Leigh was officially removed from teaching law at Palm Beach Lakes because of a complaint by the Principal.  Further validating his harassment claims.

Citing a problem with his final exam and a conflict with the curriculum that he sets, Malik was handed a paid suspension by the office of Professional Standards to prevent him from further teaching his students Law.  In an ironic twist, his classes will be overseen by......SUBSTITUTES!!

Attached are the "questionable" tests and class assignment "survey" and the notification letters given to him.  The reason the district chose to go this route is that in case Malik Leigh is successful in his Injunction, the on-going "investigation" will clearly extend into perpetuity preventing him from returning.  But, the issue is CLEARLY that they do not like what Mr. Leigh is teaching; which is THE LAW!

The test: http://media.wix.com/ugd/7861fb_95158bd65e5a40d8b2febd252fa769a3.pdf

I highly recommend reading through the two tests, and decide for yourself which of the questions are actually about "THE LAW!".

I'll also note this isn't his first conflict with school administrators. He was already warned about unprofessional behavior for a previous incident:
