I’m subjected to the draft. I am subject to the state’s call to go to war regardless of what I have going on.
So I SHOULD have the ability to vote for the composition of that government that I’m potentially expected to die for to ensure that it’s decision-making is sound so that any conflict is one of supreme national interest and NOT some nonsense like we have been involved in the past 10 years.
See how easy that was?

I have to admit that dealing with you is repellent: I have never read more disgusting comments from any other individual on the Freerepublic.
That said, I believe that all citizens should perform at least two years of national service starting at age 18 - everyone. Not a draft, not a lottery, not something that can be avoided. Everybody. The only proviso that I would make is that I ended up with somebody like you in my unit that I could just put you directly in the brig for the duration.
During peace time, that service can be everything from working in emergency rooms, post offices, forest rangers, etc. in time of war , military service of some sort will be compulsory with the only exception being that of women in direct combat. We need to win wars not fight with a handicap.

I dont find cowards that call people perverts or accuse them of being gay or having a mental illness because you are too damn scared to answer a simple question to be that high on a ladder of intelligence myself.
But at least you finally got something of an answer through, so that is good enough.
Perverts are people who somehow manage to insert descriptions genitals or other body parts into ordinary discussions. Perverts are folks who write disgusting and distorted descriptions the opposite sex. And in your specific case, perverts are morons who call a combat veteran a “ coward” from the safety of his or her keyboard.
