the giant lie that Trump says over and over he wants to keep and expand Obamacare. The only thing Trump has said over and over again that he’ll repeal Obamacare.

Not only that...but a few days ago Rush played the Cruz 13 points where Trump is supposed to have the same policies as Hillary.

He only made a minor qualifier as Trump has said he would raise taxes on hedge fund operators...while ignoring the Trump tax cuts for every one else.

Rush didn't disavow Trumps desire to "Repeal and Replace" obamacare.

Same as Levin ....4 hour pro Cruz anti Trump rant every day.

You DO know that I am not endorsing Cruz, nor against Trump, yes?

I am asking why you can’t support Trump without bashing Cruz. Nobody has been able to explain. All I get is everyone whining about their reasons for bashing Cruz.

Even your last post assumes that I must be anti-Trump if I question the Cruz bashing. For folks like me, your approach does not win support for Trump.

My gripe is with the supporters, not the candidates.

Anyone with more than 3 working brain cells can see that I am right. What did his dreadful FAUX filibuster be, than an ego booster and a stab at making a name for himself? He was a more or less UNKNOWN Freshman Senator and this FAUX filibuster began with an empty chamber! Reading that moronic Dr. Suess "GREEN EGGS AND HAM" crap, had no place in a filibuster and was off putting.

And just WHAT did it actually accomplish? NOTHING.....it was just puffery!

Ted voted for the Corker Bill, the TPA, did NOTHING at all re the Mississippi Scandal. And he LIES; he lies about EVERYTHING! He has been lying for years! He lies by both omission and commission. He NEVER told the people of Texas that he was born in Texas and lived there for the first 4 years of his life, nor that he had Canadian Citizenship.

He told the people of Texas that he and Heidi had liquidated ALL of their assets, to fund his Senatorial campaign. THAT WAS A LIE! He took out two different HUGE loans, from two different banks ( sweetheart loans, at that !)and even conveniently "forgot" to put it down on a REQUIRED FEC statement. He and Heidi NEVER "liquidated" all of their assets.

What I have posted are facts, NOT "trashing" and I've left out all of the lies he has told, repeatedly about Trump and other things.

But for some reason, you believe that it is completely unnecessary, perhaps even uncalled for, to post facts about Cruz and that everyone who sees him clearly, are just nasty people. *shrugs*

Why is it so difficult to support Trump without bad-mouthing Cruz?? And vice-versa?

I gotta tell ya, Cruz was once my favorite, but now I can't watch him talk for 30 seconds without switching the channel. All he does is "bad mouth" Donald Trump. It's obviously not a winning strategy, and hasn't been for months, really, but it nonetheless proceeds apace.

Ted Cruz is clinging to a shrinking base of support. It's rather unrealistic when Cruz's campaign and supporters are tearing down the presumptive nominee, to expect the Trump campaign and supporters to unilaterally disarm.

The fact is, what Cruz is doing, as the losing candidate, is what is needlessly ripping the party apart.

This is the exact reason why a candidate should step aside: when they have no reasonable chance of winning any scenario.

The party can't unify as long as Ted Cruz carries on this Machiavellian mission on behalf of either his GOPe benefactors or else his own blind personal ambition.

If the situation were reversed, there would be a deafening outcry for Donald Trump to suspend his campaign.

Instead, Ted Cruz is in that position, and one need look no further to see the rank hypocrisy at play here on the part of both the GOPe and the failed Cruz campaign.

So that's my synopsis as to why Ted Cruz is being "bad-mouthed". Donald Trump has endured magnitudes more "bad-mouthing".

Anyone who has seen the last few moves by the Cruz campaign should be aware of what stage it has arrived at.

I'm sure everybody would all be delighted if the GOP(e)-on-GOP badmouthing would stop, so that we could all enjoy the Democrats bad-mouthing us all as a group.

Vote Trump

Cogent is a matter of perspective. Cruz is a head case from where I sit and he is reality challenged. Perhaps you think he is anointed. I do not.

What’s the matter with the truth? Are you one of those who prefers political correctness no matter how badly Cruz lies?
I prefer seeing Cruz get what he deserves. I do not believe in rewarding losers!

Today, Lee has conspicuously joined every other sitting senator in declining to endorse Cruz’s presidential run. And while Lee and Cruz are still friends, the episode vividly illustrates Cruz’s talent for irritating other senators.

Hmmmmm - my sarcasm escapes you. I used your own methods against you, to show you how foolish they are. It is OK for you to say the most vile things about someone, based on your feelings, but not OK for me to express my much milder feelings about you.

It is hilarious that you somehow got the “feeling” that I support Cruz simply because I object to the trashing of him. Since I know exactly whom I support and do not support, I can state with assurance that your feelings are simply your attempts to justify your irrational hatred.

Yet Trump built his campaign on a “trash the other guy” strategy.....

OMG, I just watched about half of that interview.

Just let it go, Ted. Please!

Desperate definitely is the first word that comes to mind...

Cruz DOES lies ALOT ...like all the time.

Here is some "out of the box thinking"

Ted is lying as much as Obama

Obama declares martial law and appoints Cruz as President (as a sop to the GOP) ...with Jarret as VP.

Must I think he “is anointed” to ask why you are unable to support your guy without trashing Cruz?

So far, nobody has been able to answer that question - you all just want to trash him more - which makes me question their mental balance.

“I just watched about half of that interview.”

Try watching this interview; it’s real short but you will get a window into his arrogant mind. See how condescending he is when he keeps saying:

“Chris, don’t interrupt me,”

Oh - I get it....it is your opinion, and everyone with more than 3 working brain cells agrees with you....not a cogent argument, and i dismiss it out of hand.

THAT stupidity, tends to make me discount everything else you say.

Why am I not hearing reasons to support Trump - just the stupid blather you have repeated?

It’s interesting watch Cruz construct his childish lies. Takes a phrase here and a phrase there while ignoring Trump’s position papers on the subject. Cruz turns small things into the giant lie that Trump says over and over he wants to keep and expand Obamacare. The only thing Trump has said over and over again that he’ll repeal Obamacare. Cruz is truly a rat. I don’t understand how Cruz supporters can support such a liar.

You're so right. He does lie. I can't believe it's actually true, but he severely distorts everything he's saying about Trump, and it adds up to outright lies. Who does he think he's fooling with this crap? Fewer and fewer people, that's who.

He's just epitomizing a power-hungry politician who will "say anything to win" (Carly Fiorina's words about Ted Cruz) and must win at all costs. Lawyer-esque prevarication.

Maybe Cruz will remain a good Senator or become a Supreme Court Justice, but not if he continues with this craziness.

Vote Trump

“this site is just dripping with class and decorum lately!”

Your backhanded sarcasm is misplaced.

The more the public has watched, and the better they’ve gotten to know Ted, the less popular he’s become. Simply put, he’s just not a likeable person.

When he first announced for president, he was strongly supported by the majority of members here, but that support has cooled and cooled, over the course of the race.

It’s a matter of millions of people, making their own individual observations of the man, and coming to the conclusion that they prefer another candidate for the Republican nominee.

It’s not even personal, as few of us know him in real life. We’ve simply watched how he’s conducted himself throughout this race, and have given him a thumbs down.

That’s really all there is to it.

At this rate I don’t know who will be put in the asylum first, Glenn or Ted.

Ted has a rubber room at the asylum labelled:

Office of the President Select.

Cruz has been lying to me since 2012. That is reason enough for me. I voted for him then without doing my homework. Lesson learned. I can assure you that I won’t be making that mistake again in 2018.
