Blacks don't like camping, or visiting parks. Obama thinks white people are to blame. https://t.co/b5v8Ehq9jO— Milo Yiannopoulos ✘ (@Nero) April 29, 2016
So now visiting parks and camping is racist.
I suppose eating vanilla ice cream will be viewed as racist also.
Mr. RightField and I first met back in 1971 because he saw I was a woman with her own VW camper. He found it intriguing that a young woman would have such a vehicle. The rest, as they say, is history.
I nearly fell over when I learned Hippos are one of the list of top human killers in Africa, ranking up there with #1 mosquitos. Hippos are awesome animals but they have really bad attitudes.
They like to munch on fishing boats full of fishermen.
I saw a few blacks at Yellowstone a few years ago. More Chinese, Germans, French and Japanese.
I was stopped at Grand Canyon years ago, and the First question asked me was...”Do you speak English?”
“Yes” I said.
Then I was asked if I knew directions to the main building there.
Strange. They took over pools in various towns many years ago, just to prove a point.
“Blacks don’t like camping, or visiting parks. Obama thinks white people are to blame.”
That’s easy. We just need Section 8 campsites set aside within the predominately white camping areas.
Not much different than the crap Michelle was spewing last year about not being able to go to a museum when she was a child. She blamed it on white people or white privilege.

If ‘these people’ didn’t have the race card, they wouldn’t have anything.
Hmmm. Sort of a form of ‘black privilege’.
Y’all are talking to my heart today!
Love that area down along the Gulf Coast.
I have done the research. My wife and I visit lots of National Parks and National Monuments and National Sea Shores, and National Battle Fields. We even drive long distances on National Historic Trails.
We have a National Park Passport book that collects stamps with the date of the visit. I recently bought a second and placed more pages in the first because we ran out of room for stamps
One can not say that there are no blacks in the various National venues. However, there are very noticeably very few. A good example is the Fort McHenry National monument in Baltimore. It is in predominately black region of Baltimore city. There were some, but very few visitors visible in the museum or on the grounds. That is also true of the places in DC.
As you get away from the DC area, the black visitor population diminished dramatically. The park service has gone to extreme lengths to always have a black exhibit that might be barely relevant. Black participation of a minuscule level is touted. Yet, in the exhibit there are very few black people.
It can be argued that although black lives are said to matter, black history apparently does not
The point is that educated blacks desiring to learn seem to be a minuscule part of the American population and not a great percentage of the black population.
another subject.....
A great way to experience America is to buy a NPS pass port and carry it along on every trip. The pass port provides incentive to travel, to collect stamps and to learn about America first hand
According to published reports in Pakistan, Obama in 1981 also stayed at the home of a prominent politician, Ahmad Mian Soomro, in an upscale Karachi suburb, and went on a traditional partridge hunting trip north of Karachi. Soomro's son, Muhammad Mian Soomro, is a senior politician who served as acting president before the appointment of President Asif Ali Zardari last September. Ahmad Mian Soomro died in 1999, and attempts to reach his son for comment were unsuccessful... The Obama campaign did not respond to an invitation to comment on some of the speculation surrounding the visit to Pakistan or to provide further details about the trip.
Spent several summers, maybe...’66-70 in Gulf Shores. Family and neighbors family(8 boys!) stayed at an old place called “Ashwanders”. Had their own private pier. Kids ranged from 4 to about 10 at the oldest. We’d take off in the morning fishing, swimming or just hanging out on the beach. Might come in for lunch. Might not. Somehow none of us ever drowned or got eaten by a shark or anything.
All the old places got blown away by a hurricane. Fredrick, I think, in about 1980. Made room for all the damn condo’s.
Cool stretch of beach at the State Park. ‘Bout the only place at Gulf Shores/Orange Beach that reminds me of the “old days”.
New favorite area is Mexico Beach to Port St. Joe, Apalach and St George Island. Wanna go fishing the bays just holla. I can set you up!
Blacks dont like camping,
An untrue blanket statement, some do.
Just like 49 percent of campers don’t
like camping, those would be women, however
1 percent of them do as long as there is a warm place to
sit and pee.
Yesterday I bought two large picnic blankets that are light, fuzzy, fold-up and have handles like briefcases.Today, Treptower Park:
I have a young black friend (through my daughter) who is on a backpacking adventure as I post this. I loaned him some gear. Hope he is having a good time.
There seems to be an optimal point. There is disdain for very light skinned blacks...deemed ‘half breeds’ by other blacks. However, very dark skin, like what people have in central Africa, is considered undesireable/unattractive.
I was stationed at Ft Riley (and never left Kansas), so I know of the heat you speak of. Its not that its hotter than other places...but there just isn’t alot of shade...so you bake in the sun all day, whe doing training.
My darkest skin tone came in Oklahoma (Camp Gruber Air Assault School). My face and neck went beyond brown and had a black tone.
Anyone who has been in the Army know that blacks are afraid of the woods, and the critters in it. They’re afraid of snakes, turtles, lizards, squirrels, rabbits, you name it, they freak out over them. They’re also afraid of the dark. My wife asked one of her black co-workers why we never see blacks when we go camping, and her co-worker told her the same thing.
The National Park Service has for years now been trying to attract blacks to the parks, and have very little success.
“Hmmm. Did he say anything about skiing or swimming?”
Or ice skating and hockey.
A flaming lib once accused me of only liking hockey because it’s a white sport. Libs are all stark, raving mad.
The Fed government is racist’ Here’s proof. While I “lived” in WDC for 30+ years, only rarely would you see blacks in museums (especially not black guys). The museums are free and they are located in close proximity to many blacks. The Fed government was somehow involved in an obvious racist effort to keep them out. Same for the historic government buildings...all free admission. Obvious racism and white privilege!
