Rush simply doesn't buy into the Cruz vitriol Trumpsters are selling and it only seems like he is backing Cruz because he isn't singing your song...
Please show me anywhere that Rush has endorsed Cruz...

I’m with you....I have only heard one thing that made me think Rush might be for Cruz....and that was the Michelle Fields lie that he repeated (about her being manhandled)...other than that I think he’s been pretty even handed...as much as I have listened.
I think it’s pretty obvious Rush prefers Cruz to Trump.
However, he is not a #nevertrump and he gives Trump props from time to time.
I’m pretty sure Rush likes Trump personally but not so much politically.
Some of Rush’s comments on Cruz lead me to believe he has a fanboy crush at times.
And a lot of times when I listen (have to work so don’t listen that much) Cruz fanatics are ragging on him for not being hard enough on Trump.
Rush is trying to be a commentator and not an advocate like Levin and Stabby the Clown.

I think Rush is very canny, and does not want to seem partial, so he uses indirect methods. With Trump, he tends to focus on what makes him click with the fed-up electorate; with Cruz, he focuses on what makes him (supposedly) truly conservative. In so doing, he subtly signals whom he prefers.
I can no longer tolerate him or Levin - not after the way they have pandered to Marco Rubio (whom I took to be a con artist from Day One). I stopped listening to Rush two weeks ago, after many years of following him.
I do not require him to endorse Trump; I require him to not lie about people like Rubio (I could have screamed when he called Rubio a “full-throated conservative”), and to not always try to lead us back into the GOP-E fold come election time after giving us some on-air venting time.
I view them all as safety valves for the establishment, so that we do not really revolt (e.g., form a third party).
