I feel I need to do this. This is tearing us apart like the state tearing a father away from his children during a divorce. I don't visit the DUmmies, Kos Crazies or the Huffingstuff Post because for one, they're insane, two, I like my sanity, and three, the websites are poorly designed, though that's mostly DU.
They're probably laughing hysterically at the civil war everybody is having, because this election did far more than they could ever hope to achieve. This is far worse than the 2008 and 2012 elections. We knew we were getting screwed either way, and held our noses to vote for the establishment candidates.
I was originally for Cruz when he first announced. He spoke intelligently, and I liked what he had to say. When Trump announced, I thought "what a novel idea, someone that has actually created jobs running for president. This should be interesting." At first, we thought Cruz and Trump would work together and maybe join each other later on as a president/vice president ticket. Then, as I guess is predictable, the mud flinging began.
Over time, information began to come out showing Cruz's history. It showed him as a regular politician with a shady past. Now most recently the allegations that Cruz has had multiple affairs.
Trump has had affairs while married, but he admitted to those. He didn't keep them secret.
I've noticed that our civil war has waned a bit, but that Mason - Dixon line we drew in the sand will probably not go away. Anybody on the other side of the aisle that pays attention to this site has been laughing themselves to tears. We need to stop throwing punches at each other and return to the civility we had before Cruz was the first to announce.
You know, I don't even like Cruz that much. But the attacks on him here would make Alex Jones embarrassed.

Trump is nothing BUT big gov’t and alot of people are turning a blind eye to his overt admissions of such.
I don't know what closed door meeting that you are referring to or the date it supposed occurred. Trump has insulted, mocked and called his opponents names since Iowa. Cruz has not descended to Trump's level- he points out Trump's inconsistencies and the impossibility of making his policies work. That is certainly fair game. It would be great if Trump stuck to policy rather than nasty attacks.
And don't say you want a Shetland pony.
Crus didn’t lie about his citizenship. He would not be running if not eligible. Another nothing-burger put out by Trump.
That seems like a reasonable place to draw the line.

Ted hasn't answered a debate or interview question without first whining and lying about "Donald" since Iowa.
No Cruz is not a liar- that is projection from Trump. Cruz has not stolen any delegates- he was better prepared, did the hard work and knew the process better than Trump. Now Trump is trying to play catch-up and set up organizations in the remaining states to win delegates- in other words doing the same thing Cruz did.

And you will believe anything out of the fake liar. Cruz has yet to demonstrate is actually is a US naturalized citizen. And nobody but his parents could give him ‘natural born’ US citizenship. And they were Canadian citizens and birthed him in Canada. Spill your bilge elsewhere.
All you have to do is go to Jims comment page and see who and why he is Zotting the #neverTrump FReepers.
Some of them have taken to personally slandering the owner of this site and thinking they can out-urinate the boss.
After the nomination process is resolved, I suspect he’ll open the door for most them, but their butthurt and hate will probably keep several of them away.
It means we know his faults and everyone has them. He does not try to hide anything. It is all out in the open.
Not trying to burst anyone’s bubble here, but with Cruz, he belongs to the club which is the problem.
Now we are where we are in the primaries. One candidate can win the required delegates. If the GOPe were to be successful to thwart the will of the electorate, it will guarantee a Hillary Clinton victory.
I logically don't see any other path for us here other than to consolidate our efforts, and take a small leap of faith. The upside far outweighs the downside.
But once again, we conservatives have to vote for the bottom of the barrel when we know damn well the best gets the Alinsky treatment? My line is true, I will never do it again, I will only vote for a true conservative and donnie is not one.
I used to think that about Cruz... he was an “outsider”...Fighting against the establishment...
But as time has gone by and seeing the things and actions he’ has taken, I’ve come to believe it ALL was just a show...
He and the establishment knew he could NOT accomplish the things he said he wanted to do...They, I think, allowed him to do the filibuster thing and look like an “outsider” for the specific purpose of making the public think he was not establishment...They were getting him ready for the exact thing he wanted to do with this election...
Trump threw a wrench into their works and he was forced to cozy up to his real bosses...The establishment..
Cruz is nothing more than a sheep in wolf’s clothing...Nothing more...
