The Latest: Trump gripes about "corrupt" nomination system
The Odessa American ^ | April 10, 2016 | The Associated Press

Donald Trump is blasting a "corrupt" election system for complicating his path to the Republican nomination.

Trump tells a crowd of thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered in a frigid airport hangar in Rochester, New York on Sunday afternoon that "it's not right" that the person who wins the most votes may not be the nominee.

He says he's doing fine, but if he's denied the nomination, "you're going to have a big problem, folks."

While Trump has won more states than any of his Republican rivals, it's possible that he won't secure the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination before the summer convention....

He’s not the only one who’s going to be griping. Bernie’s voters are getting the scam treatment as well, the light is being shone on this monkey business. The only people who appreciate that kind of crap are lawyers.

You’re confusing a party primary with an election.

I'm not confusing anything. The government/Republican regime is thwarting the right of the citizens to vote. You can justify it anyway you want by saying it is a primary, but regardless, citizens are not allowed to vote. Is that what our forefathers & Veterans fought for?

Your screen name suggests you are/were military. Is this type of voter suppression what you went into battle for? What if it was military personnel who were not allowed to vote? What is going on is not right, regardless of who you are supporting. Maybe you feel good about this, but to me it is very scary.

If we have no say at the ballot box, we have no free country.

It’s a party primary, not an election.

Yeah, pay no attention to all those people casting votes. The ones who call themselves Republicans. The ones who are told how important they are while they're being asked for money, so they can vote for people who represent them. Because other than all that vote counting, only stupid people would think it's an election like in every other primary in the country.

No, the man going to Fort Collins said once he got to the location his name was erased from the list. A life long Republican that suddenly didn’t exist this year. That was not a Trump mess up but an organized political gang lead by none other than Preacher Cruz.

I’m beginning to wonder if Trump’s plan all along was to go for popular acclamation and just ignore the ground game at the state level. Then if he isn’t crowned, to take his supporters and go home, probably giving the election to Hillary or (barf!) Sanders.

If Trump gets the nomination I’ll gladly vote for him in the General Election, and keep my fingers crossed that he actually accomplishes half of what he’s said he’d do.

Would you be okay if every state was like Colorado?

Trump supporters have legitimate gripes and Cruz supporters seem think the current system we have now is fine. This is going to backfire on Conservative big time into the future, because without Trump. GOPe will use the same system against Cruz or any other Conservative

Sadly, your utter misrepresentation proves your point.

That the people of Colorado dont get to vote is a travesty.
Also IMO the number of delegates should be proportional to the % of the votes won. Why is this process so complicated with the shuffling around of delegates crapola? Bananas cant grow in Colorado or dont the potheads realize it?

I never said you did. But I am a little tired of the whiny Trump supports who cant understand delegate selection and are constantly bitching that Cruz is cheating. It is really not that hard to figure it out if they would just put in a little effort. But no all they can do is whine how nothing is their fault. Kind of like the dem supporters.

And kind of like Trump. Complain complain complain. What is he going to do with other countries that make things hard on him. Oh yeh complain how they are cheating.

I don’t think anyone expect every primary in every state to be the same - that’s a straw man. We all expect an election to be FAIR and not be disenfranchised. If we get to vote and lose, that’s fair game, but if our vote don’t matter and can not effect the process then what’s the point?

At this point I am half tempted to not vote for Trump if he gets the nomination because of the retarded Trump supporters here who dont put up anything constructive and just attack people personally. F those Trump supporters.
