I deal in facts like the violence in Chicago and other violence stories not being a coincidence, aimed at hurting Trump.

But as Nancy Reagan is laid to rest and may she Rest In Peace the facts about Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush (41 wife), Laura Bush (43 wife) are that all described themselves as believing in a ‘woman’s right to choose’ in regards to abortion.

Facts should be on the table here, not political grandstanding and propaganda.

It would appear FR is no longer a discussion forum as well as no longer being a conservative forum.

If only we could return to the days when every American was pro life!

Dr. James Dobson’s endorsement video is very tastefully done (found at article link). I enjoyed seeing such respect still being conveyed for the office of the presidency.

“Poor choice to talk about her”

Who brought it up?

My disappointment in James Dobson knows no bounds.....
....I probably have most of his books and have followed him for years.....

...a friend of mine .....leader in our local Republican women’s group, told me months ago her distaste of Heidi Cruz....( whether she’s prolife or not).....
.....because Heidi gladly leaves her two small daughters daily with a live in nanny to work for Goldman Sachs...
....there was an article written where she said it was ‘worth it’ to have a live in down the hall so she could go to work.
Of course for the past several months Heidi is taking a leave from Goldman to follow Ted around with the girls...( we have certainly seen them on the trail....never a nanny in sight for those long, long debates)

Anecdotal, I know.....
.....but also Dobson’s assessment of First Ladies is untrue as well.....
....how does he get away with saying.....’For the first time we will have a prolife First Lady’
What a kick in the face to all the others.....some pro abortion sure (Hillary, Michelle)
......but many in the past undoubtedly prolife!

“...but many in the past undoubtedly prolife!”

See the comment re: Martha Washington!

Of course abortion wasn’t an issue back then. I’m guessing that Dobson is talking about First Ladies in the Roe vs. Wade era.

Everyone was pro-life in Martha Washington’s time. They didn’t suck out babies, burn them to death with saline or rip them apart back then.

OBVIOUSLY, Dobbs meant in modern times.

“It would appear FR is no longer a discussion forum ..”

I try to do positive threads about my candidate, but some Trump supporters turn positive threads into a sewer.
To tell you the truth, I think many of them are imitating Donald. Sad.

Always thought Trump was a blowhard but after seeing that video of Cruz basically blaming what happened in Chicago on Trump. I’ve lost all respect for him. You could just see it in his eyes. He’s an opportunist who’s power hungry.

“..I enjoyed seeing such respect ..”

Respect is very refreshing these days.

Hope we get back to the days when it was commonplace.

Sorry, but Dobson is correct.

Many of them were lovely first ladies, but not pro-life. Thankfully their husbands were.

Please look it up. I don’t judge them, and remember a sign I saw when I saw the late Congressman Hyde speak (in person):

“Forgive them, they know not what they do.”
