Your immigration post can be read two ways.
Either win over Hispanic voters because demographics is important.

Or Ethnic cleansing of Hispanics because demographics is important.

Contrary to demographics,
- some claim that friendliness, empathy are more important.
- some claim that issues, values are more important.

Of course, there are many factors in a complex situation. But how is demographics the most important?
==

All the above is true, but our politicians r charged with the protection and prosperity of Americans, and any immigrant that is allowed here should have something to offer of benefit America. Right now we are just the dumping ground, for failed Latin American Govs.

Most immigrants come here with no understanding of Americanism, they tend to be desperate, uneducated needing handouts to survive, and have little hope ever getting out of that government dependent demographic. Vast majority of these and their future generations will always vote for collectivist politicians. So build a wall, allow time for assimilation (Americanism), and then follow immigration laws which protect life, property, and jobs of citizens.

Secondly, Trade deals have lead to Globalization of manufacturing and cheap labor, resulting in a loss of living wage here in America where companies are faced with over burdensome regs and social safety nets, combined with a Fed mandate and Gov. baseline budgeting policy of constant increase in inflation. So Higher cost of living because caused by Gov, stagnant wages caused by Gov.. Creating permanent generational class of collectivist voters. While at the same time flooding the country with unskilled cheap labor, suppressing wages even more.

We have to create policies, which bring back living wages. How? (Gonna sound like a Dem) By bashing these job killing trade deals, which are no more than corporate welfare at the expense of citizens. And providing real jobs, not MceeDees, but manufacturing jobs people can support their families. Is that even possible? Thats a tall mountain to climb.

OK.

Did not know we were talking of Cruz.
Back on point!

Think I asked,
"How do you think the Donald will handle the budget, deficit, etc??? Seems a lot of his businesses use OPM."

Sorry you misunderstood the question.

1. Most immigrants are not on welfare. They work. Mexican immigrants, Indian immigrants, Chinese immigrants, European immigrants all start new job creating businesses at a higher rate than natural born citizens.

2. Immigrants of Mexican ancestry who are eligible for welfare have a lower rate of collecting welfare than other natural born citizens. The navigators are tearing their hair out because those underserved groups are not taking advantage of the opportunities open to them. For example, Georgia uninsured percent is higher than the national average. Most of those uninsured do not need Medicaid Expansion. They already qualify for Medicaid without Expanson. and Most of them are of Hispanic ancestry. The pro-Obamacare types dont want to admit this they are pushing for Medicaid Expansion to reach those uninsured.

3. No immigrant, no legal immigrant, no illegal immigrant, no naturalized citizen should come here to collect welfare. They should be deported immediately upon applying for welfare.

4. Alleged Free Trade is false advertising. Reagan proposed real NAFTA Free Trade. Then congress, lobbyists, HW Bush, Clinton, Canadians, Mexicans, everyone loaded it up with regulations. The only Free Trade left was in the name.

5. Treasury Secrtary Rubin interfered in the Mexican monetary systm (for their own good). That had much bigger impact on our relations than NAFTA. Rubin sent all the maquiladora jobs to Asia. In turn the decline of jobs in Mexico resulted in that massive migration of Mexicans to the US. NAFTA impact was peanuts compared to Clintons Treasury Secrtary meddling in Mexican government.

“Wasnt there a bunch of them who got hoisted off this site a while back? Then they went and started their own and a few went over to look and they openly said that they would basically sabotage this site?”

I’m vaguely aware of such. googled around but couldn’t find any working alternatives, so must any that exist must not be too popular. Lots of articles over the years of people leaving in a huff and trying to start something else on their own. Even more articles declaring Free Republic dead through the years. Alexa doesn’t show any competition for this type of conservative discussion forum.

Good stuff
=
About 51% of immigrant-led households receive at least one kind of welfare benefit, including Medicaid, food stamps, school lunches and housing assistance, compared to 30% for native-led households.

This is a matter of playing with statistics.
Ever go into a quickie mart where an immigrant is behind the counter working for cash off the books? Asian/Arabs working off the books of their uncles business have a higher rate of welfare than Mexican immigrants.

But the big statistical play is that Mexican immigrants have low incomes. So an extremely high percentage of them qualify for the means based programs.

Of those of Mexican ancestry who qualify a lower percentage take welfare than naturalborn citizens WHO HAVE LOW INCOME AND THEREFOR QUALIFY.

There is a Malthusian-Guttmacher Population Control group I follow closely called CIS. They are the masters of cherry picking statistics and phrasing their explanation of immigration to further their agenda. I greatly admire their Orwellian skill.

Trump says he has not large donor class but this is the biggest lie of his campaign.

He is beholden to all of his investors and will be bending over backwards for all of them should he become the next dictator to follow Obama.

Because the 122 words explained the problem and the solution, and the 12 words is a political slogan that will never work.

First Mexico will never pay for it.
Second, they invented ladders.

No you you asked:
Are you an agent-provocateur for the establishment cabal, not who is my employer.

do you think that Ted Cruz is Yah’s dedicated servant to restore Christian dominance in America,
not what is my religious belief about Ted Cruz.

are you just so blind you can not see what is going on in America today,
not am I aware of what is going on in the world.

What is ad hominem about that?
I am not an agent, I have never heard Ted say anything about religious dominance and I am not blind.

That is all just slander and insults from your lying heart, a pitiful substitute for rational discourse. I learned a few days ago you distain civilty and rationality. Duplicitous slander is your mettle.

Let me guess, you personally have accused Ted Cruz of being owned by wall Street because he took out one loan once.

Trump cannot do business without the banks Teds work does not need bank loans...

Did you know that a Saudi Prince bailed Trump out of bad business deals twice?

Guess Trump is owned by the Muslims by your logic, or owing favors to Jihadi is just good business.

I learned suck logic from Trumpeteers, see I do pay attention.

You are correct, waves of illegals, suppressing U.S. wages, and future generational anti-American, collectivist voters.

Perhaps you should study leadership, something Ted Cruz excels in. A leader helps others gain. a manipulator uses others for gain.

They vote Dem? Mexico has 3 political parties.
From 1917 to 2000 and now since 2012 they have been president.
From 2000-2006 PAN’s Fox was president and accurately described as a libertarian leaning pragmatist.
From 2006-2012 PAN’s Calderon was president and a social conservative, committed to fighting illegal drugs. Calderon could be accurately described as the Santorum of Mexico.

PAN has always been described as the party of the small business man and devout Catholics. PAN won in 2000 because the Mexican economy collapsed under the PRI president. The economy tanked because Clinton’s Treasury Sec Rubin did what was good for Goldman-Sachs but bad for Mexico.

The best way to understand the Mexican culture and politics is to see Hollywoods FOR GREATER GLORY on DVD starring Andy Garcia and Eva Longoria.

The Governor of Puerto Rico 2008-2012 was a great conservative/libertarian.

I took a heavily Hispanic Chicago suburb that went 55% for Gore and turned it 65% for the anti-corruption conservative Republican slate in a 3-way race against the pro-corruption slate of the liberal Republican governor (who then went to jail) and the Union Democrat slate, mostly of the teachers union.

The most conservative slate got 100% of the Hispanic vote (except for 1 Puerto Rican on welfare.)

In the next election, GOPe ran an extremely anti-Hispanic candidate for governor and the same suburb went 80% Democrat.

I moved out of the suburb and turned the conservative operation over to the Black pastors wife. (Think Mrs. Alan Keyes.) She turned that suburb (now even more heavily Hispnaic) 87% Republican when the moderate Republicans were supporting the teachers union slate.

So the heavily Hispanic area went from 80% D to 87% R.

I could give other examples from the inner city of Chicago, Utah, FL, TX.

Most Hispanic citizens are not even registered to vote. They are virgins. They are not committed to anyone.

Hispanics have positions on issues, but, like most voters of any demographic group, they vote for who appears to be friendly and their friend.... who appears to be on their side.

GREAT POINT: A lot of projecting going on ... Cruzies are paranoid that Cruz sinking into the Gold/Sachs money pit means his owned by Wall Street label is sticking.

BACKSTORY In Texas, Cruz/s Senate election fairy tale has become legendary......portraying himself to trusting Texans as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.

He was whining in the media, telling trusting Texans that he, and his faithful little wife (a $700,000 globalist lawyer employed by G/S), were forced to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.

NOW TRUSTING TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin accounts at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).

Cruz did not disclose loans on FEC reports (required by law) b/c Texans would have discovered he was not the aw-shucks rube he pretended to be. He continued the rube act in order to milk votes from trusting Texans.

At the same time, he also did not disclose he was a Canadian citizen......the Harvard-educated lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees said he didn't know.

When the Dallas Morning News published Cruz/s Canadian birth certificate, Cruz put trusting Texans through the charade of renouncing his Canadian citizenship.....even though Canada did not recognize dual citizenship at the time of his birth.
