(Nevada) RNC Official Calls on Cruz, Rubio To Drop Out of Race — But There’s a Catch

Diana Orrock, the Nevada state committeewoman for the Republican National Committee, is among the latest high-profile figures insisting that GOP presidential candidate (and Texas Senator) Ted Cruz is ineligible for the presidency because he is not a "natural-born citizen".

Orrock didn't stop there, however. She also argues that Florida Senator Marco Rubio should be disqualified from running because he was born to immigrant parents, despite the fact that he was born in Miami, Florida.

She tweeted on Tuesday the link to the right-wing website "News with Views", featuring an article that discusses the Constitutional grounds that would allegedly disqualify the two Senators from running for president:

The article's author, Devvy Kidd, wrote in part:

Donald Trump can take the high road on this by stating there are two candidates who are not constitutionally eligible to be on the ballot, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

Kidd went on suggest the language Trump should use when calling out the two Hispanic candidates::

My actions would be the same if the candidates were John Kasich or Dr. Ben Carson. I am running to take an oath to preserve and protect the U.S. Constitution and that's what I'm doing.

It's a most unfortunate situation for both candidates and their supporters but surely they (Ted Cruz being a lawyer and former Solicitor General for the State of Texas) should have known they do not meet constitutional eligibility.

She’s kinda hot, in a heavily made-up, `just chewed my way out of the restraints and climbed out of bed’ way.

She should tell Trump to drop out since he’s a NBI (Natural Born Idiot).

We decided we didn’t want to be subjects anymore about 1776.

One is NATURALLY a US citizen when one can be no other.
Born here of citizen parents
Natural born citizen

That’s your own definition you made up. It’s not in the Constitution. If the framers didn’t want natural-born to mean what it did in Britain, they would’ve used different words.

It was commonly understood until recently.
It has been purposely obfuscated to undermine the Constitution and the protection that requirement renders.
Isn’t Barack Hussein Obama proof enough of the wisdom?

I think the RNC should drop out of the race and let the people decide.

She’s a Trump supporter and she’s running for assemblywoman in the 9th district.

“The Nevada GOP action to remove marriage and life from their platform is a disgrace,” wrote McLarty. “The move does nothing to unify the Republican Party. Republicans will continue to lose elections if we can’t even stand for protecting the most vulnerable lives among us; or for keeping sacred five thousand plus years of natural human sexuality. Both are direct attacks on God and the family.”

Orrock responds that the inclusion of divisive social issues has no place in the GOP platform.

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN
(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a ‘natural born citizen’ is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

It’s odd that she would get her information from Devvy Kidd, a columnist. You would think she could find a credible source before she starting running her mouth.

Wrong. In Britain before the Constitution was written, a natural-born subject included a child born to British parents outside of the country’s territory.

Guess that eliminates Cruz.
