Since Facebook seems to be happily ejecting gun folks from it's site (some after years of generating ad revenue for FB), the folks in my gun-related podcasts and radio shows have talked about seeking out alternative social media more friendly to gun owners and freedom loving people.
There was talk about MeWe and Gun District. Just a heads up.
No, but I am doing 72 hours off FB in relation to one of the protests going around FB at this time.
MeWe has a lot of firearms and 2A rooms. I’ll look at Gun District.
I’m on day 5 of no FB. Screw them.
I hope it results in revenue losses.
As soon as more people go there to find us, I’ll close my FB account.
Frankly, I picked Gun District for the name. It’s just cooler.
BamaCarry (gun group) was talking alot about both groups, but no one really committed to one or the other. Most reputable gun groups have a web page that if FB cuts them off they will decide solidly one way or the other based on what is available.

Been on Gun District for the last 3 hours. Two friend requests already, and some great political commentary in regards to the second amendment.
Only had one flash plugin crash that was easily recoverable.
It works a lot like FB.

I talk about the 2nd Amendment all the time and I didn’t get bumped!!!
I won’t use Facebook. I hear about and read about the many bad reasons not to join, from the owner being a super rich far left libtard, to the frequent suspension of accounts that talk about guns or conservative principles, to the fact that it must be the biggest personal data mining organization out there. There’s that saying about “If you’re not the consumer, you’re the product” regarding Facebook.
Agree .... maybe we need to reinforce the banglist more ..... I know I’m guilty of failing to link related stories to it. Will try harder to remember. I’m tired of pop up infested sites . FR is a gem we need to keep alive....

Much of what I do on Facebook is exposing people to news and activity they might not otherwise see.
I don't flatter myself, but if I reach just a few my effort is worthwhile.
