This is garbage.
Voter ID does not discriminate against anyone .. in fact it is the surest way that EVERYONE’s vote is counted.
It is probably true as far as it goes. Eliminating voter fraud definetly favors republicans.
They do discriminate against the deceased and against people who vote more than once per election.
The quickest way for Democrats to become advocates for voter ID is for Conservatives to start multiple-voting on election day.
The writer is giving himself a hemmorroid trying to stretch decreased minority turnout as a result of instantiation of voter ID laws as preferential for whites, only Republicans to boot.
He never examines other reasons why. For instance, the risk of getting caught cheating in an election gets higher? That those 31 cases of proven fraud out of a billion votes were so hard to prove because Democrat precincts and governments don’t cooperate. That cheating among Democrats is seen as a God-given right?
And then the final leap of absurdity - benefits only white REPUBLICANS! How is conclusively PROVING you are who you say you are and eligible to vote only beneficial to white Republicans? Do blacks’ pictures not show up or something?
