There weren’t any no kill shelters around?

We brought our cat with us when we moved back from Japan, for pete’s sake.

What scumbags.

That is so sad, the poor dog wondering WTH has happened. Lonely as can be

But seconds after I started reading this thread I knew she’d get lots of offers ASAP to adopt

Not me, my dog is with me for life, no matter what. I would find a way and no, she is not just a dog, she is family.

We had to leave our dog in Thailand when I was transferred back to the USA. Couldn't bring her back on the airplane, and she'd have had to be quarantined anyway. We left her with our landlady, who cared for her for several years until she (the dog) died naturally. Really hated to leave her because she was a good dog and was attached to us, but we had no choice.

In a perfect world, the dog wouldn't have saved their sorry @sses. In a perfect world, some canine-lovin’, fire-startin’ pyromaniac would seek them out for their abhorrent behavior. Guess we don't live in one perfect world.

Thank you so much...I was really wondering if I would have to pack for the drive! LOL

We dog lovers are silly sometimes, but never as much as the cat lovers!

Good for Snickers. And may her first pup be a masculine pup.

Sorry, just watched The Godfather a couple of days ago:)

Those people don't deserve that dog!

I hope he finds a home worthy of him.

And my dogs are part of my family-that is their place!

Good for you!

Some people think a pet is a thing to be disposed of at the first inconvenience.
