Trump: "Ted Cruz Didn't Win Iowa, He Stole It;" Cruz Committed Voter Fraud
iOTW Report ^ | 2/3/16 | Aurelius

Posted on 02/03/2016 6:33:10 AM PST by rightistight

Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.

"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:

Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"

Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

No matter my preference, or my differences with any of the candidates, I’m giving them all a chance at this point, for the good of the US.

Trump never had any ‘groove,’ he was borrowing Cruz’ groove, and misusing it at that.

Trump is doing a “Huck.”

Next he will do a “Santorum.”

Unfortunately, you are probably right; they are not the brightest bulbs on the still hanging string of Christmas lights.

Disagree. Trump is his own person. He tells it like it is and is not owned by anyone.

Me too. But I will point out to people the nature of the persons behind Cruz. It’s not good, so they should not be surprised (if they read FR) when it becomes fully revealed.

There was no ‘draw’ possible for Trump.

He said so himself “no one will remember who was in second place...”

He had foolishly bragged so obtusely that only a win, and a big one at that, could have salvaged his imaginary status that the MSM had falsely given him.

Thank you for posting the tweet. I can definitely see how it could be interpreted as Carson dropping out after Iowa. Not participating in the next 2 states is tantamount to ending a run...

However, to be fair, it was NOT an explicit statement, so the Iowa campaign team should apologize.

What you are confirming is that Trump was Perot II all along.

His campaign was always classless and coarse, just like Perot.

Based on his comments after Iowa — that he’s self-funded and the voters don’t appreciate that, and also said it’s not worth it — I’m not so sure he goes for a 3rd party run (unless he gets $$$ from somewhere else).

But if that happens, I hope and pray he’s abandoned in droves.

Otherwise, the United States will officially stop circling the drain as we’re washed into the sewer.

I’m disappointed with Trump, I think here on FR, somewhat irresponsible statements, few in number, are made but with minimal profanity, what if he called a potential female opponent some awful names, the “b” word, we might say, “oh, they had that coming” but that’s not going to play well nationally.

Hit “abuse” and have the post deleted.

(saves repeats)

Amen to that!

FReepers’ feelings are strong, else they wouldn’t be involved in this site. I guess we all should tone it down, myself included. Most FReepers are Christian in some sense of the word, whether evangelical or R.C.

Some want the man who will continue D.C. politics as they are now, and some want the outsider who won’t be manipulated by career politicians.

It used to be that all of us could support the person who isn’t the Dem candidate, even if holding our noses. I think that is no longer the case. It will be interesting to see how things play out, and what God has in mind for our country. All of our screaming, insults, and justifications are insignificant compared to what God will do eventually.

“So who would you vote for if it is Hillary or Biden vs. Cruz?”

At this point, I’d vote for the libertarian.

All of Trump’s bombast was copied from Cruz’ comments in 2011, and 2012.

He can’t possibly claim otherwise.

“What a sore loser.”

Being a “poor loser” fits right in with The Donalds mental illness, “narcissism”, symptoms would also include an excessive use of superlatives instead of factual information and a lack of empathy that would be demonstrated by mocking the afflicted and denigrating those who disagree with him or those who he believes slighted him. I believe as a “deal maker” he would be right there with obama, claiming victory regardless of the actual outcome. It’s the deal I made therefore we win, best deal ever, amazing, terrific, wonderful, I’m the greatest, fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee. I don’t trust Trump to negotiate for Conservatives or the country with his old buddies the democrats and his new buddies the GOP-e.
