Trump: "Ted Cruz Didn't Win Iowa, He Stole It;" Cruz Committed Voter Fraud
iOTW Report ^ | 2/3/16 | Aurelius

Posted on 02/03/2016 6:33:10 AM PST by rightistight

Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.

"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:

Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"

Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Trump got on stage and congratulated Cruz the night Cruz won, he should have left it at that but just like Obama it always has to be about him.

Winners win! Trump is never self-referential.

Buy some Trump steaks! ‘They are my favorite food’

Can these still be had?

How about interviewing recent grads of Trump U about their job prospects in real estate ‘Using other people’s money’

Trump needs to invest real money into his data operation.

Cant do it on cult of personality.

Trump has to stop goofing around and ‘going through the motions like I did in Iowa’

Trump busted Me Gyn, which is good.

Oh the dilemmas of life.

I said this before Iowa if Trump lost.

"He doesn't rise above it all, he just goes with some petty nonsensical BS that makes him look as petulant as the current occupier in the WH."

And that is exactly what he is, worse than the man-child in the WH now.

I will worry about the conduct of Cruz’s team after Trump apologizes to Dr. Carson for comparing him to a child molester.

Game. Set. Match.

I really do get a kick out of the Trumpsters whining and crying over their boy being out trumped by Ted.

The reason Cruz won Iowa is due to conservatives/evangelicals. The only ones who will be staying home are those who are really neither of the above. Trump is barely a conservative and he’s proving it with his whining.

You’re lying like Ted Cruz. I get you fancy yourself a superior Christian, but criticizing a man who lies in the name of God is not criticizing God.

Nice try.

Someone show me an alternative result where Cruz’s teams mistake changed anything.

I agree, but you can’t just shoot down the thought... Cruz had the best ground team and was totally committed to Iowa — all I’m saying is his team may not have believed in him and have created this monster all by themselves. It’s not a Trump being a sore loser issue, it’s a Cruz team stupidity issue. They didn’t have to do it, and they shouldn’t have!

If anyone really thinks Carson supporters abandoned him because of a tweet from a Cruz caucuser, then Carson supporters are hopeless. Face it, where is BC going anyway. Maybe surgeon general if lucky.

Re:”I guess Rubio will be the nominee.”

Did you miss the election or still being spoon fed by Fox?
News Flash: Ted Cruz wins Iowa Caucus with MOST VOTES EVER RECEIVED IN GOP CAUCUS.
Rubio was second loser.

Frankly, me too. I am disappointed. I thought we might see something Yuge and historic this year. His initial bluster was fun and on-point. I am many even put aside some of the more ridiculous statements like the bleeding out of the whatever. His point was right, he took it farther than needed.

I was hoping that his December debate performance would extend forward where he was conciliatory towards Cruz and had a more controlled demeanor. It was a sign he was growing into the role. It’s not about Cruz, but about controlling the message and building bridges among different groups. January was basically scorched earth. That can work. It looked like it was in the short term as he regained the lead in Iowa from what looked on Jan 1 like a clear Cruz victory.

Me too. The only problem is I know people will still support him. It’s scary.

“Jesus this guy wants to be our president?”

So until now, Cruz supporters are OK with breaking two Commandments — stealing and false witness. Now it’s taking “the name of the Lord thy God in vain”. Charming people.

I’m glad Trump is putting all this out there. It is helping me make a sound decision when I vote. I wish more people would put out their REAL feelings and expose who they really are....to me, this is helpful and why we have these type of elections....to cut the fat.

Repeating CNN is not fraud. I guess Trump accuses Steve King of fraud.

He did not repeat CNN. He totally made up his own story that Carson was dropping out based on a CNN tweet that said that basically Carson was going to take a trip back home to florida after the Iowa Caucuses. I saw the CNN tweet. At the best it was irresponsible for King to make up his own spin.

Now all Trump has to do is blame DIEBOLD voting machines, and the liberal circle is complete.

By making a lie that Carson was dropping out, Carson voters went to Cruz. This could have influenced the outcome. Donald is correct, this is vote fraud and Ted is responsible for the conduct of his campaign people.

How do Carson's voters going to Cruz mean a net positive for Trump? Obviously, they were not Trump voters. Rubio's campaign was heavily telling everyone this as well. Why isn't he going after Rubio?

I was on Twitter that night, and this was on CNN, which started an absolute avalanche of Tweets.

Before you accuse Cruz's people of not being ethical, have you seen the recnet Trump tweets which make up horrible lies about people taking money and/or begging for jobs from him? They easily proved with a paper trail that they did not - the two most recent are Bob Vander Plaats and Cheri Jacobus. He's disgusting. How you defend THIS defamation is beyond me. I don't understand.
