Trump is actually for health savings accounts, across state lines purchasing and transfers of your health account to any family member who may need it!!! He is also a huge fan of private sergical centers that are popping up everywhere!!

Sort of Like Trump U with the cardboard cut out of Trump that you get your picture taken with in lieu of Trump.

Yes I will vote Trump over Jeb! or Christie or Rubio.

If for no other reason to clean up the corrupt Clinton/Bush duopoly. But we will be cleaning up Trump’s universal care mess for ten years.

Also the drug companies will have no reason to produce new cures if price controls are imposed...

Thank you for posting an honest account of the interview. The previous posting of the same interview as interpreted by NR was as dishonest as they come.

That’s all they’ve got. Conservativejoy trolls the web for stories that can be interpreted as negative toward Trump and posts them here as part of some deranged quest to win...something. It’s clear none of the anti-Trump spewers are changing any FReeper minds, and when they finally snap and go too far, they get kicked off the island, so they can’t post anything anymore.

But some people seem to relish winning more than anything else...even if it’s a race to the bottom.

"Trump was then asked, "You say that Ted Cruz is a liar, but you have said that you want everyone to be covered on health care and the government's going to pay for it. How is that not ObamaCare?"

"Well, that's true," Mr. Trump answered. "I want people taken care of. I have a heart. I want people taken care of."

He continued, "That doesn't mean single payer. That means we have to help people." "

Headline written as:

Trump: If You Don't Support Universal Health Care, You "Have No Heart", which is not what he said.

And people have NO IDEA why so many folks dont support the Cruz side.

Trump has NEVER said the government would pay for healthcare, he absolutely will NOT touch Medicare but health insurance will be private sector competing across state lines!! He has also said he is seriously looking at health savings accounts!!!

If Trump wants to attack Cruz because Cruz doesn’t have a heart (Like Trump) because trump would ensure coverage for everyone, that’s fair game.

It’s Trump highlighting the differences, i.e., he’ll be more compassionate with your money.

Yesterday, Mr. Cruz stated that, if he were President, he would repeal the Affordable Care Act and "allow health insurance to be purchased across state lines and expanding health savings accounts."

Cruz is repeating what is often cited as the two simplest, single biggest things that can be done to REDUCE health care costs across the country.

Increased competition ALWAYS reduces prices, and when Health Care companies have to compete for business across state lines just like Automobile Insurance and other Insurance companies do, cost will go down, service will go up and more people will be covered as a result.

The fact that Trump doesn't get this concerns me greatly. Not that the primaries are going to matter when they get to Illinois anyway, so my vote isn't going to count.

I have heard Trump say that very thing. He acknowledged that it wasn't a conservative position but said that we have to "take care of everybody" and that the "government would have to pay for those who can't afford to pay".

The fact that no Republican since the 1960s have adequately addressed the need to reform (meaning: get the federal government the Hell out of it) healthcare shows that anybody who attacks Trump on the issue has zero credibility whatsoever.

- Medicare/Medicaid in the 60s: Republicans did nothing.
- Hillarycare: The grassroots and conservative groups stopped this, not the RNC or elected Republicans.
- SCHIP: Republicans did nothing
- Obamacare: Olympia Snowe voted for cloture, which allowed it to go to the floor.
- Post-Obamacare: Republicans continue to fund it.

Well considering the lobbyist wrote Obamacare and health care fund investments have nearly quadrupled in the past 5 years . . . with EVERYBODY being covered they should quadruple again in 5 more years.

It is rigged now.

And it will be rigged after Trump too.

Or pretty much anybody else. The whole game is rigged.

Ka-Ching. While I’ll make more money . . . I don’t think that really helps the poor people.

Intended Consequences.
