[Vanity] Self-Actualization -- My draw to Trump
1/26/16 | Vanity

Posted on 01/26/2016 9:50:00 PM PST by Fhios

Very simple reasons why people are drawn to Trump. Despite the media labeling him a populist, nationalist (as if nationalist is wrong), Trump is what most American Citizens want to be. Self-Actuated

... to realize one's full potential. Expressing one's creativity, quest for spiritual enlightenment, pursuit of knowledge, and the desire to give to society

But there's a precursor to this. As explained:

theory as the final level of psychological development that can be achieved when all basic and mental needs are essentially fulfilled and the "actualization" of the full personal potential takes place,

Mental needs is the actuall full concept here because they can encompass many other needs. Do I have food source?, Do I have shelter? Am I safe? Am I at peace with myself (religious themed), can I procreate? The 5 basic needs of our lives.

Trump is in the final phase of self actualization -- the desire to give to society. He has achieved all of his basic needs and now will become a giver. He is in balance. And we all want to be that way. To be honest, hard working, intellectual, successful and God fearing in the way we understand. We want to be self-actuated ourselves. We want to be Winners.

No, I just turned 55 and smoked a doob before posting though, does that count for anything?

No but it does explain a lot.

If someone s self actualization stems from another person, they don’t quite get the concept.

That s actually a pretty profound statement inline with the topic. I just wanted to leave out any form of relativism. Approach without a reference .

I feel better when I vote for the winner. Losers of elections become irrelevant. Like Richard Mourdock or Todd Akin. They can change nothing after losing elections.

Ronald Reagan was a Loooooooser in 1976.

I like him as an entertainer, but not thrilled about him as a candidate.

If you elect someone who does not share your views and will betray you then you have not won anything.

I want a country where the President gives his inaugural speech, and then goes away and does little outside of prescribed duties. The President is not supposed to be an elected King.
Good luck with that. The tendencies to long for a president as an elected king didn't begin with Trumpty Dumpty and, unless an awful lot of people regardless of their places across the ideological divide quit longing for King Presidents, they won't end with those longing for King Trump (or anyone else), either.

This should be required reading this year . . .

. . . just as I believed this should have been required reading in the waning days of the Bush Administration:

He can sign the bills that decommission his cabinet agencies, and sign the budgets that cut the largesse.

Would you prefer executive orders like Senior Obama?

Yeah, I know it’ll never happen. People like royalty, which is why the celebrity culture thrives. The Trump phenom shows that cult of personality is a feature present in all political persuasions.

I am reduced to voting on the the higher level of poop.

Or the lower level....

Is the poop soft...and ill-formed?

Is the poop...nicely formed and maybe classic looking?

What color is it?

What does it smell like?...

You know...etc...etc....

So, the foreign raping, killing and undermining of the job market, are just glitches in Our culture- that Mr. Trump is using as bait to vote for him?

You little shithead.

If it is supposedly “Judeo Christian”- it is secular.

Are you stupid?
