Why is Sarah Palin supporting Donald Trump?
Blasting News ^ | Jan 24, 2016 | Mark R. Whittington

Just when Sarah Palin’s enemies thought they would not have her to kick around anymore, she dropped the political equivalent of a nuclear bomb and endorsed Donald Trump for president. Her 20-minute speech at a rally in Ames, Iowa while the Donald stood by like a fidgety school boy was a stream of consciousness production that so violated the conventional rules of rhetoric that Cicero would have opened his veins had he heard it. But Hunter Schwarz caught the poetic cadence of chiasmus, a Hebrew form of parallelism which she likely picked up attending church. The Washington elites may have rolled their eyes but her target audience, evangelicals, understood her exactly.

I clicked on the link to read more about the Hebrew literature idea. No development of that, instead analysis that I have concluded and heard repeated all over the place.

A good night's sleep makes a big difference! Sarah's Ames, Iowa, speech is widely panned, including last night on SNL, more for how it appeared rather than its content. It was not her best public moment, that's for sure. Rush analyzed it correctly but those of us who watched it live or on YouTube were distracted by her appearance and delivery which was not smooth or enthusiastic. The reason, no doubt, was she was up most of the night dealing with authorities and lawyers regarding the arrest of her son for domestic violence at HER houe. And I suspect the reason she was a no-show the next morning at an Iowa rally was to both catch up on sleep and news from Alaska.

The speech later that day in Tulsa was the "OLD" Sarah, lively, on-point, full of zingers like "OPM." She said the same things she did in Ames but the delivery made the difference - she was listened to for content as her enthusiasm was infectious. Unfortunately the Palin haters use her Ames appearance as an example of her irrelevance. However those of us who have supported her since 2008 know different.

Because she is awesome and she recognizes a good candidate when she sees one.

I think Palin is supporting Trump because she thinks he
can whip Hitlery Clinton’s butt and does not think the
others running can beat the Clinton machine. She is also,
like most of us, very concerned about the influx of
Hussein’s jihadists into the U.S. and Trump is the only one
of them who has voiced loud and clear that he will place
a MORATORIUM on this wild influx that Hitlery & Hussein are
pushing. - She is also running for nothing and is not
afraid of hard work and knows she can get a job just about
anywhere in spite of “Katie” the Enforcer Couric! Also, she
sticks by her family. I doubt she is crazy about Trump. He
lives in a different world than I; and I don’t think he is
an example particularly. Not bashing King David; but the
Bible stories about him would curdle most modern
Christian’s milkshake - but he was a “man after God’s own
heart” for God’s own reasons.

Thanks for your post. I still wish she had spent time with a voice coach.

None the less, she seems pretty clear to me.

And...she's right.

The thread for bitter whiners.

She gave and has plenty of good reasons to endorse him.

The supporters of a certain candidate can’t see them through the bitterness.

Quite sick if you ask me.

Sarah versus Beck?

Huh? Glenn Beck Tells Iowa Crowd He Prefers Bernie Sanders Over Donald Trump

The Gateway Pundit ^
Posted on 1/24/2016, 7:44:58 AM by springwater13

Beck said he had never endorsed a presidential candidate in his 40 years of broadcasting, but he made an exception because of the urgency of the moment.

He said he even prefers Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a self-proclaimed “democratic socialist” running in the Democratic presidential primary, to Trump.

“Honesty, faith and truth are basic requirements. And quite honestly, I have to tell you, this probably isn’t going to go over very well, that’s why I like Bernie Sanders,” he said. “Bernie Sanders is like, ‘Yep, I’m a socialist.

“I can actually sit at a table with a man who says, ‘Yes, I’m a socialist, and yes, I don’t like what we are doing, we should be more like Denmark,’ “ he added.

Thanks!

Great reality slam against the Palin hatred on FR!

When asked by Jake Tapper on the Sunday show a while ago, he asked if she were to be considered for a Cabinet post, what would she like to be considered for. Her response was quick and decisive, Energy. She was also quick to say it would be the shortest tenure ever for that post as she would go into it with the intention to close it as soon as possible.

In the case you missed it;
