Trump is the unstoppable rising star of his own celebrity cult. Everyone knows his name, but not necessarily all the components of his game.

There can be little doubt about ‘The Donald’ now being “all the rage”.

Any media scribes, including the 24 National Review ones impertinently questioning whether Trump’s really a conservative are branded as “conservative coyotes”.

It’s an era of long knives, one in which you don’t always know the direction from which the next shiv is coming ; an era in which more than ever seeking public office means your mother, father, or wife get dragged into the mix if their livelihood is even remotely close to the enemy camp.

Most vitriol is aimed at the presidential contenders in the conservative camp, leaving a wide break for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Correct. He is a showman. He talks the big talk but if he is elected will face bureaucracy and stalling and delay. All the things he said he will do will go nowhere, thanks to lawyers and unions.

He has to know this but apparently his supporters, who are desperate for someone who will change things, don't.

Like I said, any R potus will have his feet held to the fire by both sides. There will be minimal encouragers saying, “It’s ok to do xyz because it’s our side doing it.”

Clearly there is a lack of communication here, or you are willfully ignoring the point I am trying to make; the “he’s going to save us/is our saviour” crowd is alive and well right here at FR.

I haven’t seen DT worshipped as a savior on this site. I have seen citizens of this country aware that we live in an oligarchy with the realization that only outsiders like Trump, Cruz or even Carson have a chance to save our republic from ruin. And I believe that of any of these 3 are elected potus, their every move will be scrutinized by the Republicans, the Democrats, and the MSM (through I repeat myself).

Any of those gentleman would greatly outshine Killary or the socialist.

That is one strike against the one worlder “conservative” agenda of modern times by Trump. The other is that he will look out for American interests in foreign trade. He will look out for American interests in the military and foreign policy.

AMERICAN INTERESTS! The missing ingredient in globalist libertarianism which many at National Review call conservative is AMERICA and AMERICANS. They are not conservatives. They are globalists. Citizens of the world versus citizens of America.
