The Boston Globe has a pair of articles, Pro-Con style on the question: Should the U.S. ban assault weapons?
There are few respondents at present, with No having 8 votes and Yes having 3 votes.
This is in the range that we usually expect in Second Amendment related polls, with Second Amendment supporters usually outnumbering disarmists by three to ten times as many.

Interesting how even the readers of a Leftist rag oppose tyrannical measures such as the “assault weapon” ban (which should really just be called a gun ban).

Wow. I didn’t know their readership exceeded 10 people.
They probably freaked out when it didn’t give them the results they were fishing for and quickly made it go away.
These east coast liberal idiots wouldn’t know an assault weapon from a bag of hammers. If it is black, has a magazine (that these idiots call clips), has an adjustable stock and looks really scary, it MUST be an assault weapon. Who cares if is isn’t fully automatic. Facts mean little to liberals.
