When Obama talks about gun control he has tended to tear up, particularly when it comes to the victims being children. My heart breaks when children are victimized in any way, and that became much more true once I became a father myself.
While I'm not in any way interested in questioning Obama's sincerity in this regard, I do question his consistency.
When Sandy Hook happened he uttered the quote in the graphic below, and this graphic responded to it.
For all the hype the media gave it his executive actions wont actually amount to much. If Obama was truly serious about saving the lives of children he would advocate something serious about curbing abortion, to say the least.
This isn't idle partisan chatter, the numbers are devastatingly clear in this regard. Liberals argue that banning abortion would drive it underground, but for some reason guns would be different(?)
Yeah he’s so broken up that he’s demanding schools hire armed guards to protect the kids, He demanding that cities start cracking down on GANGS to cut WAY down on gun related violence- nearly eliminating it infact, and he’s Calling on citizens to arm themselves to prevent rogue shooters from walking into businesses in workplace violence acts
Yup- He’s real broken up about ‘the kids’
If I understand the sequence of events at Sandy Hook, the killer killed two women in their offices before he shot the kids. If true, had either woman been armed she might have saved the kids lives.
NEWS FLASH: There IS NO gun show loophole, NOR any internet gun loophole. The VERY SAME laws apply there as apply anywhere else. Obama’s dictates can be LEGALLY IGNORED. He might get the DOJ to engage in selective, malicious, vindictive prosecution of people not in any way subject to BATFE jurisdiction, but he won’t get a SINGLE conviction.

More republicans have guns than democrats, but a majority of violent gun crimes are committed by democrats. The lesson is ban democrats not guns!
I saw a video by Dan Joseph about the gun show loophole myth that was quite good...Libs fall for it because they don’t even know what a gun show is.

If they were interested in saving innocent lives, they wouldn’t be democrats.

President Trump has vowed that on his first day in office, he will revoke this EO and every other unconstitutional EO issued by Obama. It would be even better if President Trump simply revoked ALL of Obama’s EOs with Trump Presidential EO #1, and then reissued any that actually might some merit.
