Senate attempts to put Obamacare out of our misery
Houston Politics Examiner ^ | December 4, 2015 | Mark R. Whittington

Forbes recently described neatly one of the great problems facing Obamacare, the wildly unpopular and increasingly dysfunctional health care reform law that has caused skyrocketing health insurance premiums and is in the process of a “death spiral.” While health insurance companies like United Health can bail from the exchanges when they find them unprofitable, ordinary Americans are trapped into buying worthless policies rather than face increasingly crippling fines. The Washington Examiner reported on Thursday that the Senate, for the first time, voted to gut Obamacare. When the bill is reconciled with the House version, it will go to President Obama’s desk where it will be vetoed.

What causes liberals more anxiety? That they were wrong or that conservatives were right?

Republicans should make it known to Obama that a veto would result in unacceptable consequences. For example, the imminent publication of a) photos (plural) of him French kissing a male (there are a few of them out there); b) imminent publication of evidence of multiple meetings between himself and a multitude of islamist terror leaders (includes Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, probably others); c) formal revocation of any of dozens of executive orders; d) a moratorium on approvals of his appointments; or e) a moratorium on his whole effin’ agenda.

The only reason they’re passing it is that they know Obama will veto it. If Obama wants to strike sheer terror through the GOP leadership in the House and Senate then all he has to do is sign the bill.

They weren't wrong.

They wanted to destroy the best system in the world, in a way that would make it impossible to revive it.

Mission accomplished.
