Check out this video of “Black Lives Matter” protesters at Dartmouth College, harassing students who are trying to study in the school’s library. And keep in mind that this in an Ivy League school – a supposed pinnacle of academia, intellectualism, and maturity:

Victor Davis Hanson recently raised an excellent point when he wrote:
One common denominator characterizes almost all unrest on college campuses: the demands to create more â-studiesâ courses (black, Latino, feminist, gay, etc.) and thus to hire more -studies professors.
So far there are few demands to make the physics department more diverse or to hire more engineering professors.
Here’s my take on this:
1) The black students who major in STEM subjects are too busy studying in the library, and don’t have the time, or the desire, to harass the other students who are studying in the library.
2) The students of all races who harass the students who are studying in the library, are themselves too lazy and incompetent to major in STEM subjects.
I’m surprised they could find the library.
These are probably some of those who are unprepared to do actual college level work, but are more than capable to use their foul-mouths to verbally assault people, and engage in physical intimidation, and disruption on campus.
Don’t blame them for their behavior, none of them have ever been in a library before.
Well, it looks like Dartmouth now has a fine advertising video to recruit students.
Having spent many years as college instructor I can say without a doubt that this type of harassment will lead to a brain drain on these campuses. The honest students will leave and the residue will eventually destroy the reputations of these schools. It will not happen tomorrow but it will happen and it will be subtle at first then turn from a trickle to a torrent of fleeing legitimate students if nothing is done.
The legitimate students know each other and word will get around as to where they can go for an honest education.
Welcome to two weeks ago
I can't imagine a parent who wants to raise their children to be responsible, law-abiding citizens and be in a safe environment allowing them to go to a campus where chaos is enabled. One of the reasons parents and students choose upper-tier colleges is they're supposed to be places where students learn in an environment that's safe and prepares them to be responsible adults.
The only way this ends is for some schools to give up federal funding and accept NO students who are "affirmative action" caliber. Decent students will flock to such places.
It won't be hard for decent families to avoid campuses. There are some excellent online options for a college education. And, that would be with a lot less debt (if any) and opportunities for part-time work near home.
The black kids demanding ‘mo free stuff’ is one thing, but what is sickening is the dumb white kids who are going along with it.
Either :
1) They are so stupid they don’t realize how they will have to pay for the demands
2) They realize but are consumed by white guilt for their whiteness, they think they deserve to be punished.
Obvious bad up-bringing by their parents.
The BLM crowd is not interested in right or wrong. It is a neo-communist-inspired movement designed to stir up resentment in the “oppressed” class so they will rise up against their “oppressors.”
The library is not a safe space for non-readers!
Pepper spray. Nail ‘em in their pie holes.
It’s not news until it’s pimped WordPress
I went to school with these kind of white kids. They are probably either "red diaper babies" -- children of Commie radicals, or children of "progressive" parents, the left-over hippies. These kids are themselves hippie-dippie or as ditsy and naive as their parents.
