This obviously is not about the color white. It’s about blaming other people for one’s self-inflicted pathologies.

You are correct. It is clear that whites, and in fact Hispanics and Asians as well, on average do better economically (and in a number of other ways) than blacks in America. To people like the author of the material that is the subject of this post, this is proof that the system is racist, hence the term “systemic racism.” They would therefore seek to change the system presumably so that blacks prosper equally, although they never seem to say just how they would do that. To a rational observer, if a system works pretty well for people of several different hues but less well for another race of person, the problem might lie in the behavior of the those folks, rather than in the system. And that is where the great divide occurs. The author of the posted material blames the system for comparative black failure. Others, who see a number of blacks who are doing well and many others who are not, say that the cause of comparative black failure lies in the overall behavior of the urban black underclass, rather than in the system, and that the system is rational (rather than racist) in that it generally rewards beneficial behavior. The great danger is that those who argue for systemic racism are in effect excusing and therefore encouraging pathological behavior, which will only prolong the underperfomance of blacks.
