Rubio would be a great Press Secretary for Prezzy Cruz.
Rubio? Nope...try again GOPe
So they think after Obama the country will elect another man-boy?
yes! lets take advice from liberals!
these are the same people who recommended Romney and McCain too, right?
Rubio is a fast talker. So is Dave down at Dave’s used car lot, but the tires on this guy are rotten. He has already betrayed his state and the entire country with the Gang of 8 Bill.
think he will gain ground as the field thins, particularly after Carson implodes. Overcoming Trump though . . .>>>>
trump’s gound game is months old. already has 15,000 signatures. rubio won’t even be on the ballot in virginia.
What has Rubio ever accomplished?
I should have made myself clear. I was talking about Cruz’s ground game being so good.
I’m very wary of Rubio. He seems to think he’s a modern-day JFK because he’s so polished and articulate. But his record certainly raises some red flags.
“Carly couldn’t be pumped up enough to take off.”
PLEEEEZE! Alternate interpretations of that remark are enough to scare a maggot off a dead dog.
Well written. I’d simply add that I suspect once he’s nominated he’ll warm to amnesty which will assure millions of conservative voters won’t bother coming to the polls. As an aside, it bothers me to nominate somebody from a family that has absolutely no background of service in our military. What was he doing that prevented him from volunteering for some branch of the service.
Writer knows he’s lying.
Is it really as high as 10%?
No, you can't, and Rubio is totally for it.
Give or take a bit.

I just saw this:
Jeb Bushâs campaign compiled a donor slideshow that included opposition research on his Florida rival Marco Rubio, calling the junior Senator âa GOP Obama,â questioning his ethics and hinting at improprieties.
The presentation, which bares the signature âJeb!â logo on each slide, according to a powerpoint originally obtained by U.S. News & World Report, specifically devotes three to Rubio:
âMarco Is A Risky Betâ
âThose Closest to Marco Choose Jebâ
âExperience Matters.â
The first slide mentions Rubioâs relationship with David Rivera, the former Congressman riddled with scandal.
It adds:
âThose who have looked into the Marcoâs background in the past have been concerned with what they have found.â
In the article with the 112-page document, U.S. News cited a Bush aide who elaborated on the line about Rubioâs background:
ââ¦that line refers to concerns Mitt Romneyâs team unearthed when they vetted Rubio for vice president in 2012.â
But Beth Myers, the Romney advisor who vetted Rubio as a potential vice president in 2012, told Politico that this is false:
ââAs the senior Romney advisor who handled VP vetting and had access to all the vetting documents, I can say that Senator Rubio âpassedâ our vetting and we found nothing that disqualified him from serving as VP,â wrote Myers, who counts herself a Bush supporter. âThe Bush aide referred to in this article is simply wrong.’â
The second slide details the amount of support Bush has in the Florida legislature, while noting that not one member of the United States Senate has endorsed Rubio for the Republican presidential nomination.
The last slide compared Rubio to President Obama, who in his own 2008 run for Oval Office, had his rivals in both parties attack him for what they called his lack of experience. The slide reads:
âRubio and President Obama have strikingly similar profiles: first-term senators, lawyers and university lecturers, served in part-time state legislatures for eight years, had few legislative accomplishments, and havenât shown much interest in the process of advancing legislation and getting results.â
Among likely Republican primary voters who watched the last debate, Bush is the candidate they most want to see drop out of the race, according to a post-debate poll Google Consumer Surveys conducted for IJ.com.
I thought the thread was about Rubio. I don’t know about Cruz picking up Carson voters. He is an elected Republican but anybody paying attention cannot call him an insider. The problem for him is that a lot of voters do not pay that much attention.
Oh it's flawed alright, but the biggest flaw is thinking an establishment candidate can pull it off.
Trump isn't trying to unite the party, he's uniting like minded people regardless of party.
No he does not. He is at odds with US citizens. He hates the idea of US sovereignty. Loves giving US citizen's tax money to the undeserving. He dances to the tune of whoever pays him the most. The only reason he seems to bridge the divide is that he is a liar and has fooled some of the people.
2) He Doesn't Turn Off Many Segments Of The Republican Base
Baloney, he definitely turns off conservatives. The GOPee and the crony capitalists are already in bed together. They love him. He does not listen to US citizens. He does what the GOPee and the crony say, so what would turn them off.
3) He has done his Homework.
He has to keep his lies straight and know whether he's speaking to regular English speaking US citizens or his hispanic friends. The language spoken always determines which side of an issue he'll speak about.
4) A Pure Political Talent
He has a corrupt talent for lying.
I was responding to a comment about Cruz but did not make myself clear to others who may have read it.
I have a gut feeling about Cruz. I think he may surprise a lot of people.
