Fox News Takes Jab at Conservatives... Again
GOP USA ^ | 10/9/2015 | Bobby Eberle

Posted on 10/09/2015 8:14:03 AM PDT by HomerBohn

what has become an all-too-frequent occurrence, Fox News wasted no time taking a swipe at conservatives. We've seen it plenty of times now -- from commentators having meltdowns because their establishment candidate isn't the frontrunner to openly criticizing conservatives as out of touch or crazy. Now, the race for Speaker of the House is up in the air, and Fox News has singled out a certain conservative candidate as the possible culprit.

Some of the Fox News bias really came to light with the ascendance of Donald Trump. Trump is certainly no conservative, but he speaks out against the politically correct establishment and the media. As such, candidates such as Jeb Bush (a Fox News favorite) are directly in his line of fire. This caused such turmoil at Fox News that they launched an all-out assault on Trump. Just think back to the first presidential debate if you have any doubts as to whose corner Fox News was NOT in.

Now, we have the fall of House Speaker John Boehner who decided to resign rather than face a possible ouster by a growing faction of disgruntled conservatives. His presumed establishment successor, Kevin McCarthy, also saw the writing on the wall and withdrew from the race knowing that he did not have the votes to win.

But check out what Brett Baier of Fox News had to say about McCarthy's withdrawal:

(Watch video at link)

So... Baier blames Ted Cruz for McCarthy's fall??? Baier makes it sound as if Cruz is engaged in a sinister plot by meeting with the Freedom Caucus. How dare conservatives actually meet and demand that things get done! Then Baier claims that Cruz exerts "undue influence" on the caucus?? What does that even mean? It's just a line thrown out there to paint Cruz in a bad light.

So, what's the purpose of those comments? They added nothing to the debate or the discussion but merely guided viewers down a path that makes Cruz look like the bad guy.

It's disturbing that Fox News seems to be no different than so many of the establishment Republicans in Washington. They talk and preach conservatism just as long as nothing really gets done. With people like Trump and Carson on the rise and people like Boehner on his way out, the Beltway elite must shaking right now. But will anything change?

(Not so)Foxy News.

Trump exposed FOX and they are scrambling a bit and the game is on. Suddenly the better polling candidates are showing up all over the other networks and being treated ‘somewhat’ respectfully, and Bush is logging a lot more time on FOX, big surprise.

This is Ailes in full pro-establishment mode. Big money protecting big money. At very high cost to America.

Fox News is part of The Ministry Of Propaganda.

They are a mouthpiece of The Cheap Labor Express.

It became very telling when FNC and FBC refused to cover what becomes of the two remaining speaker candidates.

I don’t get it. Why is Trump “certainly no conservative,” but then Cruz is supposedly a Conservative titan despite fast track and his desire to grant legal status to illegal aliens?

This orthodoxy that is developing that Cruz = true conservative, and Trump = just a populist is really annoying.

Fox did the same thing for McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. What is odd this time is instead of spending all their time puffing up their GOPe candidate of choice, they are spending all their time attacking the Conservatives too. Pretty stupid tactics for any Broadcast source to attack its viewership like this.

Hmmm, you don't say...

"...Trump is certainly no conservative..."

What was their first clue, that he has been for single-payor health care?

His political contributions to Senator Reid? Rep Pelosi? Hillary Clinton?

His plan, from the 2000 book, to gut our military in Europe?

Then spend the $50,000,000 on a massive federal takeover of the school building program?

I’ve decided to cut fox news out of my diet completely. I’ve replaced it with OAN (One America News). It’s a young startup, so it needs to keep polishing its presentation, but it’s heart is in the right place. During the day it covers all the headlines quickly without any filler.

Fox News is a collection of attractive blondes who read the news from a teleprompter while crossing their legs in order to show as much thigh as possible.

The network says it’s fair and the blondes are fairly balanced atop their stools.

Sometime ago one even opened her legs to show the viewers her panties.

Fox is salivating for Paul Ryan at this point. They can’t shut up about it.

I’ve always though Brett Baier could make the jump to cnn and nobody would even notice. He’d fit right in IMO.

Perhaps the influential Homosexual Agenda will start their own cable network and Shep (the dog) can anchor his very own program covering pervert news.

If MSNBC were smart, they would launch a conservative platform and replace the bedwetters with legitimate conservative players. Fox has been so overly exposed, they would have to scramble hard back to the right to cover.

His plan, from the 2000 book, to gut our military in Europe?
So US taxpayers paying for the defense of America hating European counties so they don't have to is a conservative thing in your mind?...

You have to add in the only “consistent conservative”. They think the alliteration is cunning. Cruz is very conservative in his speech, not in his voting.
