Seriously?

This doesn't pass the smell test. The only sources reporting this story, thus far, are fringe sites.

What about the LA Times article that says the perp was a white-supremacist, but never mentions that he was black? That is just about the same thing CNN is accused of doing.

So far CTH has not provided a link to CNN showing the image they’ve attributed to CNN.

0Hour1 also posted on CTH. I think this is all a hoax by 0Hour1, but that's just based on blog comments and my own failure to track down a source of the modified image other than 0Hour1.

If it is a hoax, it seems to have fooled a lot of people, including Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft. Hoft's page on this subject now shows CNN's denial of responsibility for the photoshopping:

If this had not been a hoax, my opinion of CNN would have dropped by at least 1%. Perhaps as much as 2%.
