Like him or not, Russia has a real man running the country.

One who knows what it means to protect and defend.

That would be redundant.

Looking at the video, provided by the Russians, really make me wonder about their technology. Even with some interesting jump editing in the videos, the accuracy of their weaponry is not that impressive.

Well, that depends. But some people need a strongman [pun intended].

A source I trust has told me that ISIS’s atrocities have been too much for even some of their followers and they are deserting because they are sick of it.

AND it has caused muslims in general to question what their religion is really teaching and what it’s all about. Apparently general populace muslims are distancing themselves from this sort of stuff.

A missionary I know says that where he is, many everyday muslim people are still apologizing for 9/11.

I have no use for islam in the least. The world would be a better place if all trace of that ideology were forever wiped off the planet, but there are indications that people who have grown up in that culture are open to the gospel.

They need our prayers.

Bombs don’t do any good it you don’t use them, no matter how *smart* they are.

Unless of course you’re on the receiving end, then I’m sure it seems accurate enough.

Yeah, and after Obama goes, the Russians will still be Russians. And you’ll be wondering why you cheered them on.

Because they had the wherewithal to do what our emasculated leadership didn't.

Whether I like them after all this is over is irrelevant. I can still approve of what they did.

So ISIS was on the run? Where have I heard that before?

The article does not state those exact words, it says their support has dwindled, sounds possible.

And that’s the thing: Obama may actually want a Russia-Syria-Iran axis as a counterweight to U.S.-Israel. By rooting for Putin, you may be rooting for Obama as well.

Yep. Now you’re playing chess. I’m sorry to see so many FReepers playing checkers and are being duped by the mass murdering KGB thug.

If this is the way it is.

However, I think there is just as much credence that this is to shore up a regime and this is for show.

During the American occupation of Iraq in the 2000s, Bashar Assad aided Sunni jihadists fighting the US military. The Assad regime remained stable, but only because Damascus sewed chaos in Lebanon and Iraq in order to enhance the regime's regional power and paper over the internal contradictions of its rule.

BI

In the end, either Syria becomes a rump state in Latakia or power-sharing, which the Russians have stated they are open to and they have met in Moscow with the "honest" opposition will happen.

Representing a minority of 12% in Syria, I think even the Russians know the whole Syrian state will not be feasible under Assad.

The United States should not allied with Saudi backed terrorists who are the cousins of those who murdered Americans on 9/11.

That frankly is where things stand and if the Israel Lobby in this country supports such a notion because Syria is aligned with Iran I’m not sold on it by a longshot.

I’ve seen John McCain with these terrorists and then I’ve seen McCain as the featured speaker at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee shindig in Washington.

Tying the dots together on who promoted the opposition to fight against Assad that led to the creation of Islamic State and the murderous mess in Syria is foremost on my mind right now.

And all but one of those “terrorists” was in Iran the year before, go figure.

Obama prevented it. Why?

He doesn't like to exercise US power because he considers us an international bully? He's a wimp? Both?

Shoebat himself has looked at those photos and said that is not who McCain met with and while were at connecting the dots, wow, bring Israel into it.

“A federal district court in Manhattan yesterday entered a historic ruling that reveals new facts about Iran’s support of al Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks. U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels ruled yesterday that Iran and Hezbollah materially and directly supported al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks and are legally responsible for damages to hundreds of family members of 9/11 victims who are plaintiffs in the case.”

I think the policy of the US based on RINO Bob Corker’s bill allowing the nuke deal talks-lifting sanctions on Iran alongside Obama’s cutting the nuke deal to lift sanctions comes out as the US and Western Europe hoping to reap economic bennies from trading with Iran which will have 150 billion dollars freed up by sanctions being lifted.

At the same time the US has been anti-Iran in Syria supporting Assad opponents and anti-Iran in Yemen supporting the Saudi intervention against the Houthi rebels.

By taking that anti-Iran position in those two cases, it supports our economic partners from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Arab states.

It looks like economic relationships with nations drive our insane and absurd looking foreign policy regarding Iran.
