Writing for the Huffington Post, Amelia Shroyer wants white people to know that their feelings and "fragility" are getting black people killed.
Her article, titled "White Fragility Is Racial Violence," begins by saying, "White people, we are massively failing with our white fragility. When we are asked to do the very least in empathetic listening, we center entire conversations around our own feelings."
Shroyer continues, "As white people living in white supremacy we have the power to take that focus because society values our words more than those of people of color."
Get over your feelings about being called a racist, Shroyer writes, because if you're white, you've done something racist anyway. "The fact is, if you're white in America, you've likely said, thought, or done something racist," she states bluntly. "It's just a fact. We were all brought up in a white supremacist culture."
Stop being afraid of being called a racist and realize that you likely are one, she writes. "By resisting (or even embracing) fear, guilt and shame we can open ourselves up to conversations about race that actually create a deeper understanding," Shroyer adds.
White people are wantonly killing black people and getting away with it, she goes on. "I don't have to live with the weight of knowing I can be gunned down in the street for no reason and my murderer would get away with it," Shroyer argues. "I don't ever have to contemplate how to prepare my child for a world that will fear, dehumanize and underestimate them. I cannot fathom that. I also cannot imagine carrying the weight of this knowledge only to be asked to educate the same people who resist listening to my reality."
Shroyer then calls on white people to end racism. "White people, we can do better. We can sit with our friends of color and feel our emotions without coopting [sic] their grief."
She then states that white people are still oppressing African Americans, writing, "We can do our own labor to educate ourselves, and find new sources of information to take the burden of our own ignorance off the people we have oppressed for centuries."
Ms. Shroyer ends her article, "We've got to do better. People are dying out here."
What it really means is
“I’ve offered an argument against liberalism that they cannot refute, so they played the card.”

Anyone who thinks I’ll take that accusation seriously is foolish enough to believe the moon landing was fake or that Barack Hussein Obama was real.

How can you not be a terrorist if you are a white supremacist racist, which she readily admits she is? So we white people are to ignore certain incontraverticle facts. Among those facts are that a big, nay HUGE percentage of black people refuse to get even a basic education, reading, writing and aritmatic, then blame whites for their inability to get a job. We are to ignore that the fatherless households in the black community are a far greater percentage than in the white community. We are to ignore the black murder rate. The rate at which blacks commit armed robberies, car jackings and other violent crimes. We whites are to take responsibility for all this? Sorry, I don't and won't. There are far too many successful black people, raised in poverty but OVERCOMING it to be successful. What we, whites hear from blacks is excuses. Neverending whining and excuses. Before retirement I was a tradesman. Not highly educated, but skilled enough in my craft to make a good living at it. Now retired I have coffee with a group of guys most mornings. White guys, Hispanics and Blacks. Similar interests and backgrounds. We don't talk about race or ethnicity because it doesn't APPLY to us. The Black guys in my group would be as out of place with a bunch of militant whiney Blacks as the rest of us would. None of them had anything handed to them on a platter. NONE of us did. But like the rest of us they learned to read, write and do at least basic math. They started at the bottom of their trades and worked themselves up. If any one of us needs a hand with something, the rest will lend that hand if able. I will start listeningto militant blacks when THEY start taking some responsibility for their plight. A large number want their own language, their own "culture" to the EXCLUSION of everyone else. If you want mainstream opportunities, JOIN the mainstream. Do not separate yourself and claim discrimination.

White people are “gunned down" by black people at a rate seven to ten times higher than the reverse. For that matter most black people who are are "gunned down” are “gunned down” by other black people. Of all the things a young black person needs to worry about, the least of these is this boobs fevered imagining of white against black violence. What a demented jackass.
