A Virginia mother who ordered a toy sword for her son's seventh birthday got more than she bargained for when she discovered hundreds of rounds of ammunition inside the Toys R Us package.

Stephenson, who lives in Virginia Beach and works in the health care field, went on Toys R Us website last week to order presents for her son Connors upcoming birthday, including a Minecraft Foam Diamond Sword.
The popular toy retails on the site for $19.99 and has a four-star rating from customers.
The order was delivered to Stephensons home on Tuesday, and the mom noted that it was surprisingly heavy. When she opened the cardboard shipping crate, she quickly discovered why: inside there were 16 boxes containing 50 rounds of ammunition each for a 9mm Luger handgun...

How would a Toys R Us distribution center or any store that might filled this order have Ammo in their building to ship?
A lot of stuff now ships from “fulfillment centers” that service many retail names. So the mix-up part of the story has some plausibility.
As far as the weight and size, etc I’m not sure.
Sounds plausible. An ordered box of ammo gets delivered packaged in foam. Ordered foam item gets delivered packaged in ammo.
