Nothing in the world is logical, but I am wondering if there may be a core of the donk electorate, so loyal to the Clintons, that if she were forced out, and replaced by Biden, they would either not participate in the election next year, or vote GOP as a protest. They are not loyal to the Democrats per se. They are true Clintonistas, and would blame Obama, and by extension Biden for sinking Hillary.

Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware remarked recently: “I do think that for the average American they don’t really know what this is all about, they just know that there’s some problem. That there was something she did that was somehow bad.”

This is so typical of the Democrats: "The ignorant masses are too dim to understand what's going on here." It is Chris Coons who is underestimating the average American. Computer servers and email are not mysterious subjects to most people in this country. They use email on a regular basis, understand the potential problems with computer security and email hacking, and do understand what this is all about. That is why, unlike other scandals, this is a big problem for Hillary.
