It has been building upon itself longer than most can remember. It is an anger that is out there, well beyond the visible boundary. This cannot be seen, it is felt looming with certainty. It is a cold, watchful and mostly private anger .
something is more serious about this type. Deeper than hot anger, which attracts the brief attention of the media. This rage needs no further discussion amid those who carry it It just is.
.The depth of this is far greater than has been seen before. A rage deeper than deliberate and more serious than mere resolve or purpose. There will be no quarter from this storm, no harbor worth finding.
Lets pray there is a more sane option. But knowing the real nature of Despots, it is not likely to be a pretty solution.
But in whatever form, it must come.
Unlike most people, I watch almost NO TV.
My wife does, but the web and the keyboard has been my news source.
Well bye! I am a Texan with a solid Texas heritage, I’m not going anywhere.
Some of my ancestors were “burned out” of AL during Reconstruction for resisting subjection to Carpet Bagger and Scallawaggs. Some of them were killed for their actions of questionable morality.
Those acts were not discussed openly for generations. But the oral history still exists. It is how this county was settled.
My family has been here since 1889, before that near Gatesville.
We have always been a peaceful lot. We’ll see where this takes us.
bttt
The resistance is already jelling. At the state level. Small militia groups will be meaningless. Organized states, that is another matter.
Texas is already rebuilding the State Guard (NOT National Guard).
Texas has begun to move gold bullion back into the State of Texas.
These actions were not done for “no reason”. The leadership in Texas realize how this is playing out.

Texas is being bought up by people from out of state it’s already well underway.
The Texas Revolution guys all got arrested last year in College Station for trying to serve fake papers on somebody.
Nobody will revolt as long as the cable and the wifi stay on.
The gold bullion thing hasn’t happened it’s just some guys building a vault to rent.
The rest is mostly wishful daydreams because it’s easier than having to look at what really happened.
I’m a little younger than that, but you know, a lot of young people are seeing the deal they are getting and don’t like it. It may not be just us old farts (although I am ‘only’ 53) when the time comes. Please thank your father on my behalf for enduring what he went through as a soldier in THAT war. God keep you and bless you, FRiend.
I will, he and I are going on a business trip in the morning. will have 1/2 a day alone with him in truck.
We share a lot.
We need to recognize that the 1789 Constitution was fantastic in establishing a system of self - government that managed to remain stable while preserving personal liberty for nearly 70 years.
After that, amendments meant to correct the nation’s original sin and other disastrous court decisions, plus populist inspired further amendments proved to be enough to put the federal government in charge of our lives instead of us.
If we do not recognized that the current document needs to be scrapped and replaced with a constitution that will take all of the lessons learned over the last 250 years into account to restore REAL liberty, any rebellion will be futile. We need to stop worshipping the document which has permitted all of this to happen over that last 150 years.
I think the youngsters are starting to figure out, that their going to end up with the short of the stick - in every way.
I pray that they’re awakening, though I’m not gonna hold my breath.
The Document didn’t permit it. The People did.
The problem is: if you give people their liberty (and I DON’T consider that a problem per se), they’ll eventually get on to to dealing with their lives and stop paying attention to the big picture.
What you suggest, and I’m not opposed on principal, is add a whole lot of “if”, “then”, “else” statements to the document.
Which basically boils down to letting the coders, or in this case, the lawyers, do their thing.
The problem with that is: The lawyers ARE in charge. And they don’t write laws for us, not directly, not anymore, they write them for other lawyers. They make the code so convoluted, that only a lawyer, and an inside lawyer at that, can ever understand it.
That’s how things got screwed up. We The People took our eye off the ball.
Strike!
