Like the proverbial canary in the coal mine, these glowing space clouds may be a celestial siren, warning of Earth's global warming, according to some scientists. In other words, no one knows but we're still going to try to take your money and scare you.

Guess I just don’t see how this is supposed to be seen as a sign of global warming.

Life is so easy when there is only one boogeyman, global warming, to blame for everything bad or unknown.

Anthropomorphic Global Warming Theory is irrefutable: All observations confirm it at the 100% confidence level. Hot, cold, drought, flood, hurricane, calm air, sunset, moonrise, all confirm the validity of AGWT. It is completely irrefutable.

OK, that does it — I’m now convinced that man-made global warming is real. With scientific proof like this, how could any thinking person doubt it? /s

The “old proverbial” global warming scam. These days, the old hippies blame anything and everything on “global warming”. Dale Jr. and Brad Keselowski didn’t win at Bristol last night because of “global warming.” However, the Dbacks swept Cincy which proves to me that “global warming” is a scam except in the summertime.

They’re called “noctilucent clouds” or NLCs, basically, clouds that glow at night.
...
I’ve only seen them after rocket launches.

So what’s the mystery? It even says in the article “they’re called “noctilucent clouds” or NLCs, basically, clouds that glow at night”.

Any supposed scientific article that relies on 'conditional' verbs is not 'scientific'.

These remind me of the old von Däniken 'novels' from the 1960s and 1970s. He wrote in a 'question' fashion:
Are these blue lights signs of intelligent life? Are these lights a signal to Earthlings? Could these lights be caused by the exhaust from space vehicles?

Art Bell, George Snoory, Alex Jones and Steve Quayle have all assured me this is the case.
This is a bit OT, but it seems important enough to share with all of you at this time. This is a prediction I found while browsing one of those new-agey kinda sites that are all about the coming troubles:
I see the coming of a great Fall on September 23. Blood colored leaves will be seen by many in Vermont and Maine. Fires and tribulation will occur in Detroit on October 30 and the dead shall walk freely on October 31. A massive poultry kill-off will occur during November followed by a black day where store shelves will be stripped of goods and there will be tumult."
Thats it, Freepers. Brrrr! Spooky!
